    Thanks Dave for keeping us posted. Keep the faith. Using weigh as a key factor I have not found another 1000va transformer that weighs as much as the al.

    Thanks for the update Dave. It's good that A-L will be evaluating every AV-047548 before it's shipped. Shows that they care about what they send out of their manufacturing plant.

    I just want to make sure that all the bases are covered and that everyone is happy with the final results. Hopefully if this is out of the way up front, it will make the ordering phase go faster.

    Sorry to ask again - is this a "turnkey" isolation transformer replacement or will this also involve assembly and sourcing of other parts?

    If you are already using the AL 800VA transformer and your enclosure is large enough for the the 1000VA transformer, it is a simple replacement.

    If you are starting from scratch, you will need an enclosure, feet for the enclosure, and binding posts.
