Ender, you have my prayers, I know how you feel and all I can say is try to stay positive. I understand the hardship of constant pain. I will also say you need to get another opinion until someone does something to help. I had to do this a couple of times in my battle with Crohn's. Trust me there is always someone else out there that can help.

So you know, There are way stonger meds than Norco on the market. It is just Percocet or Hydrocodone with a different name. Maybe a Fentanyl patch or Tramadol we be much better at stopping pain. And if all else fails Dilaudid will stop it for sure.

The only problem with Pain meds is they slow the bowel which actually hurts with Crohn's. Trust me I know having suffered for 20years now with it.

Tony M, I understand what your Bro-in-law is feeling. I have done the drink till it stops method and it works but can cause so many other issues.

Get some rest and take care of yourself. I'm sure it will all work itself out.

On that note. How old are you? I know any number of people who once they reached 50 or so came down with things that were "never' diagnosed properly, put them out of normal operating conditions for months to a year and then "miraculously" started to return to normalcy and have been fine since! I'm not ready to call this some kind of syndrome yet, but the cases mount!

Hopefully yours will also be one of these!

Something to keep in mind is the saying that the practice of medicine is as much an art as it is science. Getting a second opinion is a good idea, as another doc may look at the same labs, diagnostic tests and, importantly, you and arrive at different conclusions/theories/differential diagnoses.

This isn't to say your docs are not good, it's just that fresh eyes can mean that they see something others missed. Or that they develop an approach not considered, or dismissed, by your present team.

thoughts and prayers to you, hombre.

If you're interested, Look into a Center for IMT and a good Osteopath. They saved my wife's life, literally. I don't know your situation, but they can often find the things that "modern/western medicine" miss, and treat just about anything out there.

    Best of luck

Dang, that sucks. Get well and return to the forum as fast as possible. You have very interesting posts, I have enjoyed them very much. Like you and others here I also have Crohn's disease. I inherited it from my Dad. Thanks Dad. I also inherited life, ears, and a brain so thanks again Dad!

You will pull through just fine, it just sucks you have to go through this. I'll be looking forward to your return. This forum is much better with you here.
