Wow, 4 pages of crap that drives people up a wall. Who woulda thunk it ?

I'll agree on the bluetooth thing too. Movie theaters are ok as long as you don't go on a night all the teenagers are going.

How about this, people who constantly chew gum....not like a normal person, like a cow with a wad of grass in it's mouth, and then try talking to you at the same time. Spitting all over you too. YUK.

Incidently, who started this **** session of a thread anyway......

Grocery Store: Those who park their carts in the middle of the damn aisle.
These are the same lazy morons who leave their carts in the middle of parking spaces. It's a sad state of affairs when one can't be bothered to return them to the front of the store or one of the many cart corrals located throughout the parking lots. I really believe the deposit system should be implemented more widely here in the USA. It's popular in Europe and the UK, but the only chain I know of in the USA that uses them is Aldi. This would help to alleviate the problem.

Of course, it's also these same lazy people who can't manage to find the energy to reach their hand over and flip the blinker lever when they are turning or changing lanes. But, I digress...
Oh, and lets not forget the guys who STILL insist on wearing their pants down around their asses. Didnt that play out in the '90s.
And, now I have a flashback to the classic "Pants on the Ground."

It's funny. My wife and I walk 2-3 miles through the neighborhood every single day. It always amazes us just how long it takes people to actually start backing out of their driveways once they've gotten into the car. Me, I get in and I go. These people - we'll see them get in the car, and their backup lights come on, so we wait on the sidewalk -- not sure if they've seen us walking by or not and don't want to get squashed, obviously. But then they sit there and fiddle with god-knows-what in their car, and then they look at their phone, and maybe dial a number, blah, blah blah. It can take them minutes to finally start backing out.

Very frustrating for those of us who are waiting on them. And no, they usually don't see us. :)
I usually leave the driveway quickly after getting in the car. But, sometimes I don't; for example, I may want to change my music to something I'm in the mood for before I take off. You wouldn't want me playing with my radio while I'm driving down the road, would you? However, I don't actually put my car into reverse until I'm ready to back out. At least this way other will know my intention.

I had an experience with a more senior person too, which took me aback. I was at my son's basketball game (parks and rec, it was in an elementary school, and the spectators sat kind of up on a stage above the court), and they had folding chairs on a rolling holder that people would pull one down to sit on to watch the game. I was going to get a chair there and I noticed a little old lady going to get one also. Now, I'm 51 and she probably wasn't old enough to be my mother, but she was definitely quite a bit older than I. So, being raised to respect my elders and do things like hold doors for ladies, I grabbed a chair and said, "I've got one for you, where would you like me to set it?" She cocked her head at me and in a haughty tone said, "I can get my own chair!"

I was really a bit shocked that a person of her age wouldn't appreciate the gesture. It really took me by surprise and I think I just said, "Oh.........O K." So kids today aren't the only ones with no manners.

Hey BeefJ, that works. If we don't see the backup lights on, we usually figure we've got time to 'make a run for it'!

I'm doing fairly well on the gettin' old part, but I probably need to work a little harder on the 'cantankerous' part.

Me too, but the only ones I seem to get too cantankerous with are my kids, since they're the only ones I care about. I can't give enough of a damn about what other people say/think/do to let them ruin my day.

Another thing that ticks me off: the numerous Craigslist sellers (of anything!) that don't bother to put brands or model numbers of any of the items in their posts. "Stereo with speakers" is in the title, and then you get a picture from 15 feet away in front of a bright, open window of a small box on top of two big boxes. Or you get, "42-inch LCD television". Yeah, thanks.

I'll bet they get lots of interest that way.

I will be watching that film when it is released. As another mentioned, I've never been angry enough to truly want to kill someone. However, the thought may have crossed my mind once or twice.

I knew the lead looked and sounded familiar, so I looked it up; he was on the show Still Standing.

The number one thing that drives me crazy are people who speed in 35 mph zones either by 5 or 10 mph - but go the speed limit in 45 and 55 mph zones.

I dont really care how you drive as long as you are consistent -- it REALLY annoys me when you are going below the posted speed limit. If I was a policeman I would ticket every single person going under the speed limit when they could otherwise go the speed limit or 5 over... to me that is far more dangerous than speeding 5 over.

Other than that I am a super offensive driver so not much that bothers me.

I agree, but limit means maximum so technically you can go under the limit without consequence. Unless there is a minimum and maximum limit.

Yeah... but if you are going under the speed limit you probably should not be driving... there is simply no reason to go 40-45 in a 55 mph zone...

They should set a limit, and stick with it. By the system we have now not only are most of us breaking the law, but it is encouraged. Whatever the safest highest speed is without causing an accident is what the limit should be, so that we actually would be traveling under the speed limit without fear of tickets or causing an accident.

I'm going home now, and I'll be driving my government rationed amount of lawbreaking at 5 miles over the limit.

Here in Chicago, in the mornings.....if your not doing 80+ your going to get run over.

Every highway has a max and min. limit, here it's 55 and 45. Your doing 45 and the clowns in the morning are doing 80. Nothing good is going to come of that scenario. Then again, it's the idiot drivers at both ends of the extreme that make for unsafe conditions.

To me everyone should do 5 over in the city 10 over on the interstates... 2am to 6am should equate to 15 over on interstates

Intersting formula there Trey LOL !!! I think they came up with limits because everyone had a different formula.

In my opinion, they make the speed limit just low enough to entice you to speed. Lots of money in tickets.

In West Texas, there's not much need to do 10 over on the interstates. A huge chunk of I10 has a speed limit of 80. That's fast enough for me.

Yeah, so do others! I have a feeling that the patrol's 'allowance' buffer might get a little smaller when you get up to speeds that high - so I haven't tested them. Usually keep the cruise set around 82 or so. But then you get a ways out from El Paso and the limit starts to come down again -- and you feel like you're just crawling.

I am driving down the road right now with the stereo blaring, windows down, through Beverly Hills shamelessly flaunting my imaginary wealth while drinking a beer with one hand and texting with the other. I am using my knee to steer and the other to work the brare and the gas pedal.

I am heading out to the movies to test the new blutooth I just had permanently attached to my skull so I can see how well it blocks all the annoying people telling me to shut the f^ck up while I am trying to talk and watch some crappy film. While there, I will also take an eternity to figure out what overpriced crap I want for snacks and then go to the bathroom to purposely p!ss on every toilet seat and empty all the rolls of toilet paper.

......and thats on a good day for you John.

How about most of us who lost 20-30% of out homes value....but your taxes are still the same or higher even. WTF kind of formula are they using for assesed value ?

I hate being taken advantage of, be it government, a neighbor, family, a store, just gets me by the short hairs.

......and Lawyers. Can't stand them. I'm sure there are good ones out there, but for the most part, they are predatory pieces of dog dodo.

One more thing. Can someone please open a frickin' grocery store that has everything I need instead of making me go to 3 different effin' stores all the time.

OK...2 more things. Is it that effin' hard, I mean we put guys on the moon, we can send atoms around at light speed and crash them into one another, we can figure out the most difficult calculations......... but we just can't seem to get the effin' hot dogs to match the buns thing straight. You would have thought by now some Harvard dude or Steven Hawkins could have tackled that one.

It must be that the 'dog shrinkage coefficient' is just too complex a problem to get a handle on.
