Ok for the big finish, I just found out yesterday that she asked my best friend to lunch on the first date I had with her. ( I was in the bathroom at the time) Now I am the devil, no fault of my own.........

I gotta ask. Why is your best friend with you on your first date ? Did you need more company ?

So have you asked your friend how long he had to wait?

Seems to me that being your best friend he should have told you right away rather than wait several weeks.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

If your best friend runs away with your girl, the best revenge is to let him keep her.

I would be more concerned with this than your ROI. The paper always has a story of an ex-husband taking out the new boyfriend along with the ex-wife.

I've found (and have alot of experience) if the girl is not enthusiastic about going on a date with me, I am not doing IT (the chemical /visual connecting and pulse elevating reactions) for her. It doesn't take but a date or two for me to have seen it in my past relationships. I've been happily married for 22 years now and still remember the old girlfriends who went the distance as we might phrase it. They're eyes were open and focussed on me alot. The smiles said alot too!

If her eyes aren't excited quite a bit in your presence, this girl just isn't feeling what she needs to. THERE could be nothing at all to do with your looks, financial and all the other topics one could think of, it's nature.

You said she has an ex in the picture. That will cloud her thoughts beyond and over your brightness. I met a beautiful girl who I thought was the "ONE". Me and her clicked and didn't even go on a date. Just casual meetings at the house where I was renting a room. Then one night we got close and she, after about 5-10 minutes, flipped out saying her ex would kill us both if he looked through a window and saw us. I was heart broken and suggested us stop all activity until she felt like the threat wouldn't come into her thoughts again. I never kissed her again and time went buy and I quickly met another girl who wanted to get close right away. I would go to restaraunts and meet waitresses and always if we clicked like above chemical connecting, I'd be dating again.

The girl should be "lit up" in your presence to begin with I think. Every girl I had to work on to like me was a waste of emotions and time thinking it could become more.

    Good luck.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

IS this CP or LMN channel ?
Feel your pain. I dated this girl for four years and it was all a head game!
If she was to meet me at my house for dinner and a movie @ 8:00.....I wouldn't hit the shower until 9:00
Fridays was girls night out..we all know what that was about! If I ran into her on a Friday night she said she felt
as if she HAD TO COME TALK TO ME or I'D get MAD.. ( she should have wanted to talk to me RIGHT? )

Any way after four years she dumped me for one of those guys she hung with on GIRLS NIGHT OUT !!!!

HA HA... he dumped her for another girl that he hung with on GUYS NIGHT OUT!!!

I met my wife on a blind date and we have been married for 14 years and have 3 great kids.

IF IT WILL ..... IT WILL

I understand it sucks to feel like you have been played but consider yourself lucky you found out relatively early on. Stuff happens to all of us no biggie.
