Uh, you ain't got a chance to steal home unless you're on third... Sometimes it all starts with a bunt single, a balk, a wild pitch... If you start the inning with an intentional walk, you know you're in good shape!

    I love baseball!

After reading all the responses to this point, I guess I'm pretty weird Mike.
My wait was about 6-7 weeks.
That was 33 years ago, been married to her since.
& no, she still really isn't into the audio hobby - even emo

I knew I would get a myriad of responses, some thoughtful, some not so much (bottomfeeder). There is more to the story, I know her ex is still trying to get back with her, I have not made an issue of that either by the way. I have all the time in the world, just have not dated in a long time and forgot the rules of engagement

After reading this whole thing I agree with bottomfeeder. Got a rebounder, eh?

rebounder? I do not play basketball and neither does she as fas as I know. Ending this thread as it has compromised my self worth and what little dignity I have left. I am leaving you all to your own resources.

Sounds like to me Mike that either she still has some feelings for the ex and doesn't want to commit until she's sure about things for fear of hurting your feelings or maybe she thinks if she gives in too fast and doesn't play hard to get you wont respect her. Either way only time will tell. Hopefully if the two of you make it to the next level she wont be the type that feels once every 8-12 weeks is plenty.

Good Luck to you and I hope she actually is "the one" for you.

    REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Sounds like it's time for some knowledge from the "MBBL Encylopedia of Womens", Volume I:

    ... make that Volume II:

While everyone should try to develop a good sense of self-esteem, remember this:
"If she'll boink you on the first date, she'll likely boink ANYBODY on the first date".

If you've never been hunting before, then the first deer that comes through the woods is likely to cause "Buck Fever": Gotta get it !
After hunting for a few years, usually one becomes more selective; it's not quantity, but quality. After awhile, it may even get to the point where it's the enjoment of the hunt, not what you bag.

As Snow pointed out, she may still be sorting out mixed feelings for her ex. That's up to her to cipher out.
She is worth waiting for, never met anyone like her!!

So ... wait. Talk to her, let her know how you feel, and accept her decision.

I was so amused by this posting that I mentioned it at the dinner table.

My 21 yr old daughter first asked, "How old is this creeper?"

I said I didn't know for sure, but you said you were "older".

Then she said, "Dude, maybe she's not a ****."

I think she needs new caps, resistors and tweeters. Use Cardas solder.
and of course, lots of hot glue around the inner cabinets to hold it all together.

There is something to be said for keeping it slow and not pouncing into her. For instance, you may find out during this dating period that she is a complete psycho in which case not having having relations with her was the best thing for you. On the other hand, you simply have to try if you want it. Women generally don't write it down for you. They tend to resist but really are waiting for you to simply try.

I would think from reading this thread you may want to put her in the friend zone and forget about it, move on. She may show her true feelings then. You might also not be that into her and are simply dating and waiting for the convenient lovin'. Also a good reason to either get it on or move on.

It's perfectly fine to ask advice from your friends in Club Polk, because we are cool and know what to do with our equipment.

Depends on how much she means to you. Love is truth in it's purest form, try to short cut it and the truth will come out; sooner or later. If you really care, you won't need any opinions.

Agreed, when you start this type of thread your opening the door to insults, and good humor, get your mojo going and man up, give her the goods, and stop playing the fool, or as the Beatles once sang, Your gonna lose that girl.
