Been "dating" a nice woman for 7, almost 8 weeks now. I really like her but we have not consumated the relationship. How much time is normal for this? I am not a kid, nor am I pushy, but my ROI is looking very poor!!

Sheesh, dude. Nice way to measure the quality of a relationship. ROI? Are you kidding us?

Sorry & no offense intended, but if I had the chance, I'd tell her to run far, far away.

I knew I would get a myriad of responses, some thoughtful, some not so much (bottomfeeder). There is more to the story, I know her ex is still trying to get back with her, I have not made an issue of that either by the way. I have all the time in the world, just have not dated in a long time and forgot the rules of engagement

I don't know the situation, and having dealt with an ex I know how it goes, but I'd make sure you haven't been relegated friend status.

I don't think 7-8 weeks is that unusual. Remember, sex is a real emotional thing for women, and so maybe she just wants to be sure the relationship is 'right'.

Either that, or she's really a dude and is afraid you'll bolt after showing you 'the junk'.

The beauty of the internet and CP is that you can more or less talk freely about anything that is on your mind from how to repair something to cooking rice or your bothersome anal warts.

Wine tasting...yeah man, love those. Anyway.....

Don't bring it up in the car. Wait until you get home, sit both your asses down on the couch and talk to each other. Get a feel for her commitment to the relationship, just don't come out and say "I was curious why we haven't bumped uglies yet." Tell her how much you are commited, and looking forward to the time you are able to share a bed together. Don't put her in the position of having to decide to have sex right then and there.....though after a wine tasting, she may be more open to that, but she has to decide when. Just let her know that when she does decide, your ready and looking forward to it.

Why do people constantly have to whine about people posting their private lives on the Internet?

It's his prerogative. It's not hurting you. Let him have it. Who knows, he might actually get something useful out of it. Then won't you look like a silly man?

If she's had ANY experience with men, she already knows we are "ready and looking forward to it". Personally, I wouldn't go with any kind of 'talk'. Just let things flow naturally. It'll happen.
