Lucky? He threw for 2 long touchdowns and ran for another against the Steelers' defense with his favorite receiver getting knocked out. What else can you ask him to do?

Im not a fan of ex Gator quarterbacks, but how can you not like this kid. He grew up in the Phillipines with missionary parents helping poor people. Even in college he went back to help when he had a break. His parents brought him back to go to school and play football. Like what was said above, highschool, college, NFL, life, all he does is win. He fires up everyone around him to play their very best. He's like the best coach but he's under center. What he lacks in talent he makes up for by using the talent around him, offense as well as defense. He's also got work ethic rarely seen these days and has gotten so much better on his mechanics that he may wind up better than many probowl veterans. I'd be shocked if he doesn't make the probowl this season, and he's a rookie who shouldn't even be playing.
Every game he's gotten so much better that I would call his season a great success even if last night was his last NFL win. He won with luck, and he also won with skill. He plays with a team who believes in him and the team plays at an all time energy all the time with Tebow on the field.
I have to admit I've become a believer, ugh.

Don't want to sound like a hater, but come on. Denver is a .500 team that squeaked into the playoffs by default. They couldn't even take care of business with the CHIEFS at home a week ago. So yes, I am forced to say they are 50 percent luck and 50 percent talent.
And Brady will make them look like a lucky team next weekend. Bad lucky.

Agree... and a win at the Pats would make him feel both better and worse. The Pats' D is vunerable.

Green Bay also couldn't take care of business against the Chiefs either...is their season and their playoff spot all luck as well?

I don't like all the hype that people put on Tebow and his "miraculous" wins, but I'll definitely admit to the fact that he is a great leader. He's not an all-star QB in terms of sheer ability, but his charisma and attitude make him an all-star QB in terms of leadership.

No, GB is definitely not luck. Was just using that "must win" game for Denver as an example. And how many picks did Tebow throw the week before that game? All the charisma in the world is not going to help with that kind of inconsistency.

BTW, I said 50 percent luck!

Hey, the "Kid" is OK. He's young and he has a LOT to learn yet. Certainly not in the Rodgers, Brees, Brady category of reading defenses, calling the game and passing.

Which makes sense considering his level of experience. What we'll continue to see for a while are flashes of Tebow. Some good games, some **** games as he learns more. And we have to admit that his supporting cast is not that bad, it ain't just Tebow. The whole thing is getting blown out of proportion--it's a "team" effort after all.

He looks so young to me. No doubt he did a nice job against the Steelers, but that Steelers team was also a bit shoddy.

As far as N.E. Who knows? I'd say Tebow is not the issue in that game but how well Denver's "defense" plays. It is they who can "win" that game if they do the right thing. Also depends on how "hot"/"cold" Brady's offense runs in the first half. Mr. Billy B. has "forgotten" that he really needs a "defense" to get to the Big One? Don't understand what the Pats are thinking..."offense"? Been there done that as well as anyone and blew the perfect season!

Pro football. Anything is possible. It's possible GB and NO both lose, San Fran beats the Giants, Houston edges the Ravens (not likely), go on to win the AFC title game, and we have a Niners/Houston SB. Now that would be a most "unlikely" scenario. But something tells me that a lot of teams are ready for a "fall". I just think back to that season when NE was perfect and the Giants started to surge winning almost every playoff game by small margins near the end of the game?

If any of the lesser known teams above starts to "surge"--all bets are off!
