If the Broncos D ever lets up and Tebow really has to score some points, then we'll really see what he's all about

I'm not a tebow nuthugger by a long shot, but I think he has a bright future. not the best passer but he does beguile good defenses. while he is not the most accurate passer, he is good at being inaccurate the right way....if that makes sense. he isn't inaccurately plopping balls into the defenses hands like other quarterbacks do.

Trent Dilfer had not much more talent but was a good enough low turnover qb that he helped the Ravens win a superbowl. Tebow brings passion along with low turnovers and just as low passing stats. I'm not yet a believer but if Dilfer could win with his team so can TbOnes.

Granted they are good, very good, but I don't think you can ignore the fact that he's having an impact on the D.

I saw an ESPN interview with 13-yr vet Champ Bailey today and Bailey was positively giddy. I think it's called "Infectious Enthusiasm".

    And the beat goes on...

Haven't seen the video yet (based on the score it's sure to be an NFL Network "Replay" this week), but based upon the score it appears we have the shootout someone asked for above.

His passer rating was a 149.3 today and that is pretty flippin' good. 6-1 as a starter and the team has rallied around him. Nice!

    Perfect rating is 158.

He's less than 9 points away from having a perfect game.

That's very impressive. Especially for a rookie QB.

So to all the doubters, the Vikings scored like crazy and made the Broncos' defense looked bad, but still Tebow orchestrated another come back with his strong arm this time. So much for Denver only won because of the defense, eh  His will is just amazing!!!

Enjoyed the game today....it's a great time to be a Bronco fan. Although I have to admit it is getting a little hard to hear the Tebow talk all the time 24/7 since the Jet's win. It was fairly consistent, but after that amazing TD run on Thursday night football it has been crazy...Dan Patrick, Rome, ESPN, NFL Network, hell even the east coast zealot Peter King who has to force his fingers to type a few sentences about any team west of the Mississippi has had three strong supporting articles about Tebow, Von Miller, and the Bronco's. Honestly have not seen this much talk about a Bronco's team since Elway's final year in 1998 when they were on that torrid run and started the season 13-0.

As for Tebow...this is the first game that he did not develop happy feet. He stood his ground in the pocket, went 10/15. Only one pass was a stinker and it was the first one of the game. He had a completion overturned, and two dropped balls. Loved the half time running game adjustment. After seeing Jared Allen wreak havoc from the outside, Denver started pounding the rock right up the gut with huge results.

And sorry but everyone was giving Miami grief when Tebow scored his first two point conversion....who in America watching today's game did not think that was going happen again...because everyone saw that coming a mile away...and he still scores the two pointer untouched.

Yeah, but what aboot them Av's? Eh?

Well, now I have seen the highlights... mostly from the 2nd half for obvious reasons... and for the most they only proved that Teboe can hit wide open receivers. I mean how much more open can WR's get?

Only one that showed him trying to fit the ball into the proverbial NFL "tight window" down-field (really starting to hate that term) was a "duck"... not quite end-over-end. Still it almost 'fit'...

Bottom line... it wasn't like he had a passing epiphany or anything. It looked like the entire team stepped it up in the 2nd half and carried him for a change. Like one of his WR's said in his post-game, "There's just something about being around a guy that is that positive." If it was not before, it's Timmy's team now.

McGahee needs a little love as well. Looks to have had a great game and is having another very productive year. After the catastrophic knee injury (worst I've ever seen) he suffered way back against THE Ohio State University in the '02 Nat Champ game, I never expected him to survive an NFL campaign, let alone a career.

I was just telling my wife that this overtime will put an end to the Tebow hype. All the running back had to do was hold onto the ball, then kick an easy field goal. I said only a miracle would happen to get the Broncos back in the game.

    nuff said.

The offense in general isn't that good. They remind me of the Bears, decent defense, terrible offense. I do give the T man credit though when he openly admits his teammates make him look better than he is.

Lets face facts, the Bears blew it, Bronco's took advantage of that, the end. There was no devine intervention, no magical mystery tour to this.

He threw 15 passes the entire game...the running game did almost all of the heavy lifting that game. Not to say he didn't contribute, but I don't see how "his strong arm" won the game for them.

Alot of teams and people 'struggle' to win, doesn't mean they're not good. In terms of 'quarterbacking skill' no he's not that great, but their record with and without him speaks for itself.

    This.

I don't personally like QB ratings and such, because it really doesn't tell the whole story. Take last week (Dec 4th) as a great example.

    Tebow - 149.3 rating | 10-15, 202 YDS, 2 TD
    Rodgers - 106.2 rating | 28-46, 369 YDS, 4 TD 1 INT

Now, Rodgers had nearly the same % completed, almost 100% more yards, twice the TD...and the lone INT didn't result in any scores...and yet, according to the stats Tebow played a better game.

And people like to go "well, it's winning that counts, and he's winning for them. It's a miracle!". The Packers were 1 game away from not going to the playoffs last year. They've won 16 in a row so far with a QB who's only been starting for 3 years, and who wins in an impressive fashion every single game. And yet all anyone focuses on is...Tebow throwing 1 or 2 TD a game?

    I just don't get it I suppose.

Well, of course, which one is more intriguing to talk about? The current champs with all kinds of star, a loaded arsenal of wide receivers and running backs? Or a team that started 1-4 with hardly any big name in its offense and an unorthodox linebacker-body quarterback? He's 7-1, the 2nd best behind Rodgers during the last 8 games, and his team is on the verge of making an improbable playoff run become true. You tell me.

The Packers don't have any sort of "all-star" running game this season. They have 2 good backs in Grant and Starks, but they haven't been able to contribute a lot this year.

I can see talking about how Tebow keep pulling wins out of his donkey, but people keep saying "he's a great QB!" and the numbers just don't show it yet. He hasn't thrown enough passes in general for anyone to tell what kind of QB he'll really turn out to be.

Sure it's a great story on how they've turned their season around, but I've seen too many people on TV and in person gushing about Tebow and I just don't get it. That's all.
