At least it's a good story in sports then some player that can't let the thug life go and getting busted with a gun or having his wife taking his golf club to his head or some crappy story like that..

It's nice having a positive story in sports..

Go Packers!!! I want them to pull of the undefeated season...

The packers just had their 1st rushing gain of over 20 yards since the 2009 season and someone thinks we have all-star running backs? Someone hasn't watched a packer game in the last 3 seasons!

All that aside... lets hear it for the kicker... 59 yards with plenty of room to spare just to get into the OT and hit another one from 51 to win! I know the air is thin up here and it's making my brains turn to mush but that's impressive. If you don't agree, I'd like to see anyone on this forum hit from over 40 yards!

I've been a Broncos fan for 44 of my 49 years, started going to games in 1971, and no way would I call Tebow a great pro quarterback. But a great competitor, ABSOLUTELY! His teammates have bought into his sheer will to win. The fact is that this is a great sports story, a team 1-4 and headed into the Andrew Luck derby, just two months later goes very old school on offense and wins games by playing stout defense with a beast of a rookie OLB, and pulling off wild 4th quarter comebacks.

I'm going to sit back, take an aspirin before every game to protect my heart and enjoy the hell out of this ride.

Indeed, whether you think he's great or terrible or in-between or whatever, what's important is he has the team believing in him and themselves..sometimes that actually will win games for you..imagine that:mrgreen:

With you there markmarc.....went to some great Bronco games myself over the years. My first game was in 1980....Broncos vs Jets. Seeing fans throw snowballs at Mark Gastineau was the highlight of that day. That guy was seriously pissed. I went to the only Marino vs. Elway game in 85'. Was at both AFC Championship games against the Browns....and countless Chiefs and Raider games.

That being said....and being such a huge fan for so long, I have never witnessed anything like this. Love him or hate him, Tebow is clutch! And sorry to say yes he was 3 for 16 in three quarters...but 6 of those balls were drops, and one was for a sure Touchdown. You can possibly say that he was horrible.

Whats the most amazing part is the national attention on this. You have no-football people talking about Tebow. The Wall Street Journal is running stories on Tim, The win last week was front page news on the Drudge Report. Fox News was talking Tebow last evening. Its getting huge....but I am loving every minute of it.

Just overheard this conversation between two students -
Kid 1 - "Dude, Rodgers is a beast!"
Kid 2 - "Nuh uh dude, Rodger's ain't nothing! It's all his team!"

Needless to say, I had to restrain myself from smacking that kid.

Agreed. Barber must have been the loneliest guy on the flight back to Chicago. I'll give it to the Brnocos though, they capitalized on those screw-ups to come back from what seemed like a definite loss.

Tebow has been fun to watch. Beating the Patriots is a tall order for any team. Too much Brady! Tim is just not at that level of performance. He has my respect as a leader and motivator, just not enough experience. He's still young. I'm cutting him some slack.

Thinking Tebow is an all-pro QB is like thinking Butterbean was the greatest boxer of all time, or that the Tank Abbott was the greatest MMA fighter.

Not likely, but they were fun as hell to watch when they were around! I just have to laugh everytime I watch a Bronco's game. Definately gets the fans into the game.

Yup... lost on the game, but broke even on the Over/ Under... but then there was Timmie's following week, total Yak-job at Buffalo. Ugh...

This week at home against KC with a playoff birth on the proverbial line ought to settle the Tebow question once and for... at least a week...

So "Spazznos" gives Dork Turner a reprieve?? And AJ Smith??

Turner and Smith have headed a death spiral downwards of the Chargers to mediocrity.

Marty S. was fired after a 14-2 season....yet Turner has two .500 seasons and is allowed to keep his job into 2012?

So much for 'there is hope for next season' -- geez - talk about crushing the hopes of fans.

Salt in the wound is "Spazznos" asking for a new stadium.

Um, tony... that was a week 17 line... tempus fugit... Still working on my Wild card weekend picks, but leaning right now towards...

Cinci and the under... Giants and the over... Denver and the under... Staying away from NO/Detroit...

Date & Time Favorite Line Underdog Total
    1/7 4:30 ET At Houston -3 Cincinnati 38.5
    1/7 8:00 ET At New Orleans -10.5 Detroit 59
    1/8 1:00 ET At NY Giants -3 Atlanta 47
    1/8 4:30 ET Pittsburgh -8.5 At Denver 34

I think Big Ben being hobbled will keep DNV/PTG score low and close... the Denver D is for real.
Tebow will run for over 100 yds; question is will he pass for over 100?
