binding post cup on sda

Here is a pic of what I am needing help with.
I plan to do the cardas binding post's upgrades. However, I wish to purchase a new cup (if that is the name) to start over with. I plan to use 5 post per cup. the 5th one will be used for the sda interconnect. I will no longer use the stock pin-blade connect which is 18 ga. Upgrade will be two 14ga combined.

Does anyone know which cups will interchange with the sda srs 3.1 TL's cup?
Desire a different one which can be modified to accept the 5th post. I plan not not using the present cup.

Why not use the BPC you have?? I have modded all my SDA's this way. To answer your question the 2.3's 1.2's tl versions as well use the same cup. you can also use any of the cups all you have to do is mod them as well..

If you find my 1.2tl/1C/CRS+ upgrade threads you can see how I modded them to put in the 5th binding post for the SDA cable. I used a piece of delrin to give it more stability but you can use a piece of lexan from any hardware store..

Be sure to keep the white wire jumper on the back side of the BPC on the negitive side just in case you use an AI-1 DreadNought SDA cable..

TOOLFORLIFEFAN ever think of running off a bunch of those delrin or lexan plates pre-drilled and ready to go for sale. ?

I know, I know, One more thing to do for us that you most likely don't have time for.

Thanks Larry... That is an option, however if I can get my hands on another cup... perhaps I will have the orig. cable and BPC to go with it? just a thought.

This is what I did with my custom Klipsch Forte speakers. I had a lexan plate cut to the same size and thickness of the original cup, then drilled for the banana posts. It's an easy and cheap tweak that allows you to completely customize the back of your speakers while providing a completely custom look. The picture below will give you an idea, however, I've put better binding posts and a new gasket on since that picture.
