I just sent a PM to TeeKay007 about the handoff of the 703s from Dabutcher this Saturday. Is that still the plan?

Those were a different pair from the pair we had. Read post #92 & #96. The east coast pair were the ones returned not the Midwest pair.

this is a question irrelevant to the current thread, but i dont know what to put it under, is there anyway you guys could start a demo program aimed at FPO/APO, or some other program aimed at and for military, i think it would be a good way to help those who serve know about new products and test new products before they get stateside, as most stores i have encountered have little selection and or no demo set-up of any audio products other than a display of the item theyre trying to move, as a lot of us live in base housing or barracks, smaller systems such as soundbars, wireless surround, and bookshelf and satellite speakers may be easier, also with having mostly the order online option, we have no option to demo most of your fine products, any feedback would be awesome, thanks in advance- rob

i also think if more service members were aware of your product and its quality, they would talk to store managers and get them carried in the exchange, as it is right now the closest thing to high end speakers we have would be bose, and lets face it, bose sucks, and we're spoon-fed bose and beats here

Rob, thanks for the great idea about getting Polk demos out to the base housing or barracks. We have some new SurroundBars coming soon that I think will be perfect for this. Can you send me a DM with a good location to send a new demo to?

    Thanks again!

I would be interested in this demo but I am not sure if it is still active or where that are geographically. Is this demo still available in the Peoria/Chicago area?

    Thanks.

So sorry for the delay. I think all is sorted out now with Conradicles. CES and Macworld rang me through the ringer but there's no excuse for being such a shlub. My bad. I'm back!

    Jon -

You may want to post in the other thread with the east coast demo... I sent Scotty pm requesting he forward contact info details to you, so I hope you got that. I know Treitz3 is interested next in the Charlotte area, but not sure about that and who may be on the list you have, so some updates in the thread would be good. We all know you have been swamped, and want to keep things moving forward but we don't want to do the wrong thing and screw up the demo for others- so we have been in a holding pattern for awhile. Big thanks to you and Polk for making these demos possible. I was thrilled with the 703's and hated to see them leave the house.

Jon, i want to apologize for any rudeness that may have come through in any of my posts, the fact i have to sell my gear is not your fault, nor is your timing regarding a FREE audition of some great gear unreasonable.

Many members know what deb and i are going through with our health situation, and now pressing repairs to the house just add to the stress, and unfortunately i was not handling it well.

I sincerely apologize and thank you for your efforts.

BTW, i have cleared some space in my pm box.

So are these still in rotation? Any chance of coming back to the Chicago/NWI area?
