MIT Shotgun S3 speaker cables or interconnects first?

At minimum don't coil speaker cables and try and keep power cables and signal cables crossing each other at 90*, that takes care of most of the issues.

That can be a task with upgraded power cables and IC's as they are stiffer then the cheaper stuff.. -

I hear ya!!! At worst you don't want all you cables laying parallel to each other. Just try an mix 'em up so they aren't all 100% parallel. Even 45* criss cross is better than parallel. Again you just have work within the space given and the type of cable given. I would imagine (this is a logical guess) as you move up to better cables it becomes less of an issue as I'm sure the shielding and sheathing is incorporated into the design to minimize the effects of wires running in close proximity to each other. Although I still always try to isolate power from signal cables.

This is good knowledge. I'm glad the topic came up. I'm in the process of sourcing out dedicated circuits for my system since it shares the same circuit as my entire main floor and kitchen... I'm amazed it hasn't popped. However, in addition to that, it will allow me to re-connect my entire system. And with this knowledge, I can implement this knowledge when I do that.
I'm wonder how much noise is in my line. So much to do... so much to buy and add... -
Joe is great to work with. Just bought some S3 8 footers. Hope that I can figure out how to make them work seeing my amps are pretty close to the speakers.
Just wish MIT would do shorter runs. oh well can't complain about the deal at all! -

I'll tell ya, the cables are so thick, they really "act" like shorter cables. If you think you need 6's, you'll be glad you got 8's. If you think you need 8's, get 10's. They have minds of their own...2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's
