While I have never heard a complete LSi surround system, I did have Lsi-15s that I had picked up along side these. I had liked the RT setup so much I thought the Lsi would be an upgrade. However, what I found was that I much preferred the RT3000p fronts. They were considerably more dynamic (likely due to having better sensitivity), clearer, and more versatile. I would think this would hold true through the line. Many believe that the CS1000p was the best center Polk ever produced (and I agree except that I have not heard the LSiM). The f/x1000 is a BEAST of a surround. it is absolutely fantastic.

Crap, I just realized that the title of my thread says RT1000p which is totally incorrect. Mods, can you change this?

Somebody needs to jump hard on newrivals deal. For the price you can't beat the RT5000p system. I have a complete one in my living room for regular TV. I even have a extra set of 3000p bases that I am using with the fx1000p surrounds.
