First episode just ended a few minutes ago, what a start. Its the only show in years I look forward to watch every week. Many questions left unaswered but thats typical for this show.

P.S. The kid and his son better show up sometime in this season!

Count me in as a huge fan!! The checking the zombie's gut scene was intense, gotta say their hearing must be bad, not being able to tell a real bell from a cheap PA speaker, that was funny. Very well done so far.

I definitely thought it was a step-up from last season. However, I have a couple of nitpicks. How did T-dog (or whatever) recover from that arm injury so quickly? It looked like he lost about 15 pints of blood in about 15 seconds. I found myself wondering for half the show if he was even alive and then they show him in the background with an arm bandage. Okay...

And if "what's her face" really was that concerned with offing herself, does she really need a gun? Seems like there are a thousand ways to go about it while no one is watching...

    Agreed. The cliffhanger was ballsy.

We took a stab at this show last night for the first time. (I know, it's the 2nd season)
The little lady treated it like a horror movie and had to close her eyes at a couple spots. I think i might attempt to catch the next episode.

I've only seen one episode but already i was hoping some of the main characters were going to die. The bitchy blonde chick, Shanea Oconnor and her daughter for being dip$hits. I hate weak characters

The ending......everyone knows to wear orange in the woods.

Love this show, enjoyed last nights episode.

If you go to their web site and click the link for videos, you can watch 6 webisodes that shows a little more of when it all began. It explains how the woman in the first episode last season came to be (the woman crawling in the field with only half her body).

That's what makes the graphic novel on which the series is based so awesome. ANYONE can die at any time.

Its funny how this show is. The first episode, it seemed like most of the first part of the season will be a road trip and they only temporarly stop because of a road block so once they are find the little girl they will be on their way .. But then that leads to ricks son being shot, and the black guy dying from infection. On top of that, Shane and the "fat guy" gets stuck in a building with hundreds of zombies outside. The way its going, we will be on episode 6 before we hear anything new about the lost girl.

I'm starting to have an issue with Rick's wife, she is really getting on my nerves!! I hope they kill her off soon so Rick can just get on with his badass self! In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing half the females get eaten slowly alive, and get some new, hotter chicks who can act get found down the road!! Fresh Blood! Fresh Meat!!!

Understatement of the year. What the hell was with her complaining to Shane about giving her and her son the cold shoulder in the first episode? You know... right after he tried to rape her and she promptly told him to stay the hell away.

Can't imagine why he would keep his distance....

Look, I don't mind a good Zombie movie, some can be good. I don't think it is worth my time for me to watch, week after week, as you can only kill zombies so many ways and then it's just repeats of the same old stuff, but I'm glad the rest of you Zombies enjoy it.

You obviously haven't watched the show have you

Anywho pretty crazy ending to the show last night. I think it could have been written a little differently cause Shanes decision seemed to come out of nowhere. He had so many chanced before to make the same decision, I dunno. Anyways, are we ever going to find out about that little brat?

Agreed! This show is far more than just blasting a zombie's brains out. It's the strong human element and their struggle that I like.

Last night, yeah, what a crazy unexpected ending. When you think about it though, Shane did the deed at the most opportune time...when they were almost caught, but the truck was just up ahead a little ways. Shane knew he would be in the clear if he did it.

Pretty intense though! I love this show!

I am not liking this season as much as the first season. IMO, the episodes drag along until something out of the blue happens and it carries it over to the next episode. Reminds me of a bad soap opera. I realize they are developing characters or at least trying to but the show is getting so melodramatic it is sickening.
Starting to loose me as an avid viewer but will give it a few more episodes.

I agree, its because they got rid of the director, he's the guy that directed the shawshank redemption etc .The old director wanted to do most of the filming outside with his usual big wide panoramic shots and amc thought it cost too much money so they wanted to start doing all the shooting indoors with less zombies and a really low budget for special fx .They totally f'd up my favorite show just because the producers wanted to line there pockets with more money .Expect to see nothing special with so so zombie action in tight quarters .

I could tell the change in the first episode where the old man was on top of the camper van looking through binoculars .The camera never once showed you what he was looking at then the main character looks through his rifle scope and see's a whole bunch of zombies with no warning ? WTF !!! The cheap **** shooting techniques are now affecting the story . I think they have beat the FK out of the cars on the highway set so far and its time to move on to the next cheapo scene for more drama bullcrap character development involving love triangles and moral compass mumbo jumbo dramarama .

I hope people complain about the show and its gets back up to snuff like the first season with big wide open shots in the city with plenty of zombies on screen being blown limb from limb by characters with blood spray all over there faces

Just got done watching tonight and it gets worse with each episode . tonight there was one zombie in a well and the rest was filled with bad writing and over sentiment .now we have a love triangle forming with the 2 cops and a pregnancy test as the focus

This shows becoming a days of our lives style drama and what about the hunt for the girl? I think its dragged on way too long and can totally see it being dragged out till the end of the season where they find her surrounded by a bunch of zombies ending it till next season with a crappy cliffhanger that I dont even care about

Exhausting. Valid points all around but I keep thinking about all the melodramas I'm surround with at work, with friends, and with family and I think if I was caught in a zombie apocalypse with them plus a few strangers it'll probably look a lot like the show.

How come the asian guy is always a virgin dork like ensign Harry Kim? Well, Kim never did score with Seven and this guy did so I guess that's progress?

fyi - Season 3 ordered on Oct 25th.

I understand where you guys are getting at with whats going on with this show. But I have to say this episode had a different feel to it and was the best yet (in season 2). I know the girl is still not Fing found but hopefully they continue the flow of this one.

I like the show. I think it's at least better than last season. The last episode was decent with the visions of his brother and such. Personally i'm a huge zombie fan but i find myself waiting for wednesday to roll around a bit more as i think the new show american horror story is a bit better. At least so far.
