most feel like the are "saving" others from making a mistake and spending their money on something they think its a waste. Yet these same people probably get upset if you tell them they are over spending on things like food, drink, clothing, ect.

I wish places only allowed reviews from people that acutally PURCASHED said cables ect. Too often people feel the need to comment on something they never tried and then discourage others from forming their own opinion. Audio is different for everyone, just because YOU didn't think it made a difference it might to the guy next door. We should encourage people to experiment and enjoy themselves. If everything sounded the same then we would all have the same system, and what fun would that be?

With respect to exotic cables - a fool and their money soon part. But why offer advise to fools?

You may get burned if you put your hand into a fire and you don't need to look both ways when crossing the street.

But don't believe me, because I said it. Experience it for yourself to find out. You won't really know until you've tried it. Right?

I sensed sarcasm throughout that comment too.

I submit that it is because they fear we may be right.

True. And let's not forget jealousy. I suspect a major reason they get upset is that they are jealous some people can afford better cables. By trying to bash people who are successful they make themselves feel better for not being able to afford better cables.

I'm sure since it's the internet %90 of it's just bashing since you can "hide" behind a made up name when reviewing things.

...what I'm askin why does it bother people so much that somebody else does buy them? How does it effect them?

So what is it? are people simply jealous that somebody else has the money to put into one of these cables and have even more money in their homes and such?

Or is it that people really get off on complaining about random things?

I don't know about why people do it, but there are some real gems in the reviews for the AudioQuest K2s. Some of them are trying too hard, but there are a few that are just right.

    Explain myself? OK dad.

I was simply attempting to turn the question around on you. Why people "care" about how you spend your money is just as irrelevant (and unknowable) as why YOU care what other people think about how you spend your money. I'm sure I buy things people find stupid or outrageous, and I'm sure if I looked hard enough I could find entire corners of the Internet dedicated to ridiculing nearly every choice I've ever made as a consumer. I choose not to find those things, and ignore them when I come across them. I recommend you, and the thousand other people who start these threads, do the same.

I was happy to read your comment. I'd rather read something that sounds neutral as yours did. thanks for your input.
