    Do you think it's as good as the last Kuro Models? Maybe it was in torch mode and uncalibrated, maybe the room sucked. I can't be let down by an elite model TV , this will ruin me inside.

    Well, out of all the Pioneers the KRP-500m has the best black levels and it seemed better than that. My eyes could've been playing tricks on me, but at $8000 it better have something special. PQ definitely goes to the Kuro's though.
