Then why did you even begin to start to do it, knowing damned well that you didn't have enough to actually go through with it in the first place. Hmmmm, I only have 1 y splitter, you think maybe I ought to just wait and actually try this when I have 2? Oh, and enough wire and cable too to do it properly. No wonder you couldn't hear the full benefit of bi-amping!

    BS,
I hope you know, that Bi-Amping, Bi-Wiring is all opinionated and varies from individual and not all hear what you seem to hear?

Did you also know that putting your hands around a tweeter, and then your ear around your hands, and listen you can hear the difference between a speaker? The hiss, the etchiness, etc, you can hear that type of sound like that. You can hear the clearness, or the togetherness.

Also, if the difference is great, which is wasn't in the mids or highs, just bass, then it will be noticeable. When I get more wire, I will try it again, don't worry.

    Depends on your taste...

What do you like more...HT or Music?

2000i will be hard pressed to be beaten in HT. The RTi70/SVS combo would rule it in musice I would think. I hear it is a HT based sub section, with great mids and highs. The 70 has crystal clear mids, and great highs. You won't find anything though that will beat the RT2000i, unless you get the 3000i... (I think thats what they called it)

If you have about 500 watts of power, look into the RTi12 that is about to come out...

    Something that could beat it...

Polk Audio RTi70 or RT800i or RTi8 (coming out soon)

    paired with

SVS PCi 20-39 or SVS PB1

    or

    500 watt amp

paired with RTi12 (coming out soon)

and dare I say, add a SVS to that too...

The best combo would be the RTi70, or the 8, paired with a SVS. My 2 cents...

    oh well..done replied...lol

i know man! I heard the SRT! Awesome! Costs 7,500 (stereo pair) here. That system truly does a great job. Would say the 87,000 dollar Wilson could not crush it! A truly awesome speaker! The 1.2TL, 2.3TL would also be another awesome speaker to look into (on ebay)

    I run the

    RTi70 stacked with the RT35i with a M&K MX-90 (MX-125). I plan to get a SVS PCi 20-39 later this year.

I run a Adcom GFA 545 to the 70, an Adcom GFA 535 with the 35i. Y-Splitted together, plan to fix my other 35i so I can run the left main likewise...

I have the Pioneer Elite VSX-41 for my Pre/Receiver.

    IXOS wire, Radioshack cables...

    Nothing special

    Jm Lab is nice stuff...

THe new momo, I heard the old DB series in a side by side comparison. I must say, the brightness of the new momo is the best thing I have heard in car audio. It cuts straight through bass. Awesome speakers...
