Just a heads up, I will be bowing out from the Polk Audio demo programs as I don't have the time to manage them. However, it certainly was my pleasure to fill in temporarily.

Polk Audio's own, Jon_S will be taking over this and all the other Polk demo programs in the very near future. Be aware that there will be major changes to the way the programs are run.

    That's a fair policy.

Didn't even know you worked for Polk (or perhaps you just volunteered time). Now I feel bad for PMing doro regarding demo questions.

The Ushers are more detailed, but there is a certain pleasantness to the LSiM's that is quite intoxocating...

I thought they just had an extremely pleasant cohesion about them. The musicality was friggen awesome.

Yea, man. The word "pleasant" does not sound nearly as impressive as the way that I mean it, but that's the best word I've got for now. I could listen to these speakers for days on end.

Anthony, thanks for the hand off. Good to meet a Polkie face to face!

Man I would love to hear these. I thought about signing up for the demo, since I knew they were coming through the area. I just don't have the right room in my house to do them justice.

Hey man, you're welcome to swing by one weekend!

edit: if there is interest, I'd be glad to host a mini get together while I've got the 703's...

    Toe them in, they're not SDA's. :P

I'll tell ya, they might not need it. I had them straight out, and the imaging was really good. Now they might just do a little better with some toe in, but I don't think it's as critical with these as with the original LSi's. YMMV

We're working on a Owner Demo program that allows prospective buyers a chance to hear the new series in a properly setup enviroment. Stand-By for more information but this is something that's been talked and discussed for quite some time at Polk....and is finally taking shape.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

feeling paranoid again, not hurrying anyone that has or will have these before me, just making sure we communicate properly that we are still in line, having never done this before.

Just dont want to miss out for lack of effort letting people know.

FYI, I have the East Coast 703's. Jon_S is now running the demo program, and I have been in touch with him. I am currently awaiting instruction on how to proceed.
