Any chance the big boys: 707's or 705's are ever gonna make it to the Midwest. I know there are some folks here that would love to get their ears on them."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." They dont list the LSiM in the dropdown to select. Personally even the dealers with the old LSi series are not carrying them here in Indiana.
They still have the regular MSRP on the LSi's lol...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
I heard from a reliable source that Canada will be blessed with LSiM products very soon at a local B&M store.

Is B&M equivalent to Best Buy here in the States?
B&M = Brick & Mortar. Essentially, yes. -
1st post!
I just got a pair of LSiM 707. Polk forum members are welcome to drop by for a listen. I am in the Raleigh/Durham area. -
What's the update on the 703's on the east coast? Falcon any idea?
-
I would definitely like to audition the 703's myself...
Rick, if I had your money, I'd have an 11.2 LSiM setup. But then you would be broke and on the street, we couldn't have that. :loneranger: -

Very nice. I'll be in Charlottesville July 9th to 12th for work, maybe we can link up then? -

Keep your pants on!
As of about (3) hours ago, the 703's are in my possession.
They are performing beautifully as we speak. They are actually impressing me more right now, on my system, than they did at the dealer. The dealer's setup sounded better.. but it should have... it was a perfect room with all Bryston gear. I didn't expect them to do this well in a real-world environment. I want to keep them!:biggrin:2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

Have you tried them on the BAT or Parasound?

Very nice, enjoy the time with them! Pm me when you want to start talking exchange details!
Oh yea, how can I keep my pants on WHEN I DON'T HAVE ANY ON!!:eek::eek: -

BAT. I'm givin'em a pretty good workout right now. Pics taken during The Cars, Shake it Up, I'm Not the One. Great recording. The 703's tore it up.

Toe them in, they're not SDA's. :P"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

How do they sound compared to your Ushers?
-
Toe them in, they're not SDA's. :P
lol. I haven't played with position much yet, but they seem to do a lot better off axis than the original LSi's. I usually put a very generous toe-in on LSi's, but these LSiM's are doing great straight ahead.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

How do they sound compared to your Ushers?
They hold their own surprisingly well. In fact, I can imagine that some listeners would even prefer the LSiM's over the Ushers. The Ushers are more detailed, but there is a certain pleasantness to the LSiM's that is quite intoxocating... or maybe that's the beer...
I can't believe the bass these guys put out.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's
