My stepfather always insisted on putting raisins in his meatballs. Being from Rhode Island, he claimed this was a "New England thing". Can anybody back this up?

UGH...if he's italian, tell him to turn in his card right now.

My dad puts raisins on everything, and is from New England... and even he does not put raisins on meatballs.

Beef tongue. I kept seeing it on the Food Network and everyone saying it's like very tender pot roast but even better. They were right. Now instead of steak tacos I get beef tongue tacos.

it is really good.. mom would make that about once a month for us... cooked before you slice it looks rather gross.. a big old tongue looking at you. but once sliced in between some home made tortillas and salsa and avacado .. yum!!

Take one block of cream chesse, and a can of Hormel Chili, zap in microwave until cream cheese melts stir together, get bag of fritto scoops and wala instant pleasure scooping that up with the fritto scoops.
