I'd be in for six. Which according to my rough calculations, puts us in the 300 range. I'd be interested in some for RDO-194 tweeters, if this works out, the SL-1000 old gaskets are gummy and don't really fit (even with stretching).

Are you implying you would like to do us all a similar favor and supply these parts at a considerable discount? Or are you just trying to make the OP and his 'investors' feel bad?

I have made my own from foamie material that can be bought at any craft store. You can also purchase it at Walmart, 12pcs 12" X 18" sheets for $5.00. There are links to making gaskets I have made in this forum. Each gasket costs about 15 cents each to make.

While your work is impeccable, not all foam rubber is made the same. Keep that in mind.

Way to sand bag a thread. You should have started your own thread rather than crapping in here. I'm sure your idea works to some extent, but why come in here and disrupt what brgman has going on. Not cool.

I wouldn't worry about it, even if you have dozens left over I'm sure you can move them. Look at Larry's rings, people are still wanting those. For this type of thing and for the minimal cost I don't think you need an exact number.

But if a lot of people are planning on bailing then that would be nice to know.

Dude, I'm in the same boat buying nice tshirts for the Polk Army guys but I think they're awesome and will pay for themselves, which is all I want. Sometimes you have to go on faith.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

You will have some people that commit that don't actually end up buying but I'm pretty sure it won't be a large amount and I'm sure others will pick up the slack.

While Jim's idea looks great I am still in for enough gaskets to do my SDA-SRS 1.2tl (I believe that's 16 mid gaskets). If you do tweeters, xover cup, and woofer - I'm in for those too!

As Jesse said, I don't think anyone is going to switch from yours to the other guy's gaskets. Go by the total number that people asked for and you should be ok.

I am not making gaskets for sale. This was not an attempt to crash the thread. It is just my way of saying there are other options out there than paying an arm and a leg for a gasket.

That's how I took your post. Just an alternative to those wanting to make
their own and not needing so many.

And I'll still take 30 of the custom's.

With the great rings that TOOLFORLIFEFAN makes, maybe we could get him to make us some template rings to cut our own gaskets with. Just a thought.
