So the roof leaks, the doors don't shut correctly, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint but I like my little room and I enjoy sitting by the hearth watching the commotion since 2006.

I agree to an extent, the iTrader system has been down for quite some time now. And even though [I guess] it's not a huge priority for Polk, I do think it's a nice feature to have, whether we "pay" for this forum or not.

Since so much emphasis is placed on the level of tact and trust for our Flea Market, it's nice to know you can research what members say about deals they've gotten here.

I also like the idea of being able to edit For Sale threads and marking items as Sold, but perhaps that's not something that can be selectively done for just one section of the Forum?

    My $.02
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

It's called corporate consolidation, and you can expect more of it with the new owners.

But honestly, some of you guys need to get a life if this is all you are concerned with. They finally got a handle on all the spam that was popping up, and we are able to discuss just about anything we want that is discussed within polite company, and we have an excellent market in which to get great gear at good prices. The few bad ones get brought to every ones attention PDQ. What more could you want?

The threads in the FS part of the website are quickly changed to SOLD if you just state that fact. That's not even remotely an issue....and I should know since I watch and change them.

I do however, really wish the feedback system would be fixed. I believe its a valuable part of the forum and that section.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

These issues have been addressed with Patrick, even by me directly. It's not an upgrade issue, although it's available and I assure you that outside help will not be requested, asked for nor is it needed. This is a very small part of Patrick's work and his main priorities lie elsewhere. He knows about the issues but needs some one on one time to get it fixed. That will happen when it happens.

I have expressed my concerns over the i-trader and other forum amenities as well. I can't really say too much but in a recent conversation with Patrick he revealed there will be a site re-launch and some of these concerns may be addressed when that happens. The re-launch sounds like it will be pretty cool, so stay tuned. HTH. Cheers.

While not that big of a deal, if anything gets fixed I wish it would be the upgrade that was done a few months ago. If you create a post in MS Word, the upgrade software will take the ' " ` characters, possibly some other characters, and replace them with question marks (?).

It's an internet forum. One of two that I frequent, and I don't think the other one has as many bells and whistles as this one (defunct or not). I don't use any of them over there either.

    A good place to ask...

Why do I get "Friend" requests, and what does that do? I never refuse anyone that is apparently desperate enough to want me for a friend, no matter how socially mutated they may be. What happens when you become "Friends" with someone?

This forum is operating fine as long as there is a "Bozo List" capability available to everyone. Even the bozos, who should list themselves. Save everybody some hassle.
