I really think they did a great job in design. The only thing I'm not truly digging is the lack of color options. At 4k for a pair of speakers , I would like a few more options in color. Cherry and black just don't get it done. Today more then ever many houses have Maple finishes. These speakers would look fantastic in a birds eye maple. I would be willing to pay a difference for a finish if it was offered.
Honestly I just want to sit down with a pair of 707's. Anyone know when they will be on the market?

    AWESOME!

I noticed that the LSi line is still shown.
Is this only temporary, until the LSi's are completely phased out? Or...will Polk keep this as a second tier option????
It could make sense, since the LSi's do have a great reputation and the LSiM's are (suggested) to be higher cost. It's a great product and if all of the production tooling is still in good shape and paid for, then would it not be a good business decision? As long as it only fills a gap between the LSiM market and the VM & RTi A markets, rather than competing with the new line.

    Just a thought

Before I bought my LSi9s my plan was to wait for the LSiM 703s ... alas my curiosity about the LSi series caught up to me. Those 707s are making me think about selling everything lol. I better not look at the product pages anymore.

I think the LSiM 703 Bookshelf is priced wrong. At $749.95 it surely is a steal. I'm sure someone with more info than me will chime in on the price...correct or not.

Give the pages a week or so to get fully accurate since Patrick has a lot of small stuff to clean-up. If you have specific issues after this same time next week, post them here and I'll ensure it gets addressed.

    Relax guys....

The LSi line is still a current lineup.

Those FX's look like they are going to be awesome looking wall-mounted w/ the grill on. Much nicer being rounded compared to the triangular design.

Wholeheartedly agree. I pulled the trigger on a pair of "new open box" LSiFX for a good price...and now I *really* wish I'd waited. Really didn't realize how much the squared-off triangular design sticks out into the room, and how low the WAF would be (in an 18' wide HT I've even found negative MNAF=male neighbor acceptance factor :frown: from the LSiFX...)
    Current polk speakers:
    Family room 5.1: TC265i R/L, VM10 Center, RC65i surrounds (couldn't match the TCs)
Basement non-dedicated 7.1 HT: SDA-CRS+ R/L, 255c-LS Center, LSiFX surrounds, RC80i in-ceiling rear surround, plus Wharfedale 12" sub (some day I'll get around to building 15" F-20 sub).

I don't see any price listed and I guess that is because I'm in Canada. Any information as to whether us polkies in Canada will be able to purchase these speakers from Polk or who may be an authorized reseller?

Any thoughts on why only one bookshelf is offered?

I'm not complaining, it makes the decision very easy if you want bookshelves, I definitelly like it when manufacturers make those decisions easy
@ $749 for a pair, I am seriously considering them over moving to an older lsi bookshelf!

Just curious if this 703 is some sort of an lsi7&9 hybrid... thoughts?!

They wanted to simplify the lineup and decided on a single bookshelf instead of a pair. It also allowed them to really saturate the bookshelf with everything from the larger models without any kind of real sacrifice aside from the obvious. It's not a small bookshelf by any means.
