See a bunch of new members on our forum so alot of you don't know me.

Anyway, most of you remember my 1C's and remember why I had to sell them :frown:

Hoping the deal goes through tomorrow (since the seller has received countless inquiries) but I might score a pair of SDA 3.1TL's for $50. Unfortunately the guy recently went through a divorce, but before finding that out I told him how I had to give mine up for pretty much the same reason.

Cross your fingers, I might own some SDA's again! Seller did say that he has no way to test them and that a friend told him one of the woofers was out. Won't be able to test them out either myself until I get an amp+preamp but this will be a great set of speakers to build another 2-channel setup with.

Go for it. It takes awhile to rebuild your life after end stage marriage. Sorry for the other dude, though.

Does this mean you no longer need those vintage monitors?

    That's right!

So guess what guys, I'M BACK!

Holy **** these speakers look new! Seller even apologized for not having the original boxes but honestly, I could care less given the price I paid. Even got a mint-condition interconnect cable. I'll post pictures up as soon as I get them in, a bit too heavy (after 4hours of driving) to haul them inside myself.

Was told one of the woofers in the left cabinet is out, but that's alright. Will just have to locate it later on when I get a new pre/amp.

New owner of SDA 3.1TL's. I'm back in the club

PS Almost forgot to mention, I was surprised to find that the tops DO NOT HAVE ANY STAINS on them since they're most commonly used as drink stands.

Hmm, funny thing is I was wondering whether I should first upgrade the tweeters or save up some cash and upgrade the crossovers down the road.

I'll put you first in line though if/when I upgrade the tweeters. Honestly, right now I need an amp and preamp lol I have nothing left other than my Sony ES player that Mark gave me, some MIT S3's, and Ben's silver speaker wire. The main components are non-existent.
