SDA-SRS 1.2tl Monoblock Suggestions

Immediate notice is more thump in the bass. I did make sure the passive and drivers were as tightly coupled to the cabinet as I could make them and I did seal up the wall brace "hole" in the back with a screw and rubber washer. That could have something to do with it... look forward to using these Polks daily. My wife is going to bury me in them.

Installed the RDO-198's and changed out the polyswitch replacement Mills .5 ohm resistor for a Mills .22 ohm resistor - wow what a difference! I got chills listening to vocals.
One last 'tweak' to make - one or two of the screws that fasten the XO plate appear to be stripped. Since there is no seal here, they are just letting precious cabinet air escape.
Any ideas for fixing this? Is there a piece of hardware on the opposite side of the baffle that holds these screws in, or do they just screw in to the cabinet wood?

You can buy a longer bolt from Ace Hardware (Home depot/Lowe's doesn't sell them) and use a t-nut on the other end.SDA SRS 2.3TL's

Ahh okay, I presume Polk didn't use T-nuts in the original design or mine got 'lost' somehow. I had to google what a t-nut is, I am a noob when it comes to this sort of thing.
I appreciate the advice!

A friend of mine has a virgin set of 1.2tl and he runs them with a A1 and a couple of denon poa-6600a and they sound amazing. He is in the process of doing some upgrades to his, but is a very long and expensive ordeal on his as oppose other sda.

I think Hurricane nuts are a better choice than T-nuts for that application.Political Correctness'.........defined

True. The teeth of the T-nut would not easily penetrate the MDF as I recall. Good to know there's a better option.SDA SRS 2.3TL's

Are hurricane nuts something you can get at a brick-and-mortar? Lowes/Home Depot preferred as they are close.

I've used these in both particle board and mdf - they work great and hold like crazy:

Thanks for the link - is that URL for the exact hurricane nuts that will work with the xover plate screws?
Update: 8-32, that looks like them...

to mount the midwoofers and PR's to the front baffle on some RTA 12C's and what I plan to use on my 2.3tl's.
I use socket head screws with #8 brass washers - very classy looking. It takes a little positioning so that the washers don't but against the edge of the speaker frame."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer -

You can play with the positioning or just file down the edge of the washer to mate with the basket. They would fit even better then.
That is the same method I used rebuilding my SDA2's. -
