Not ashamed in the least to say...Walt Disney.

Some of the best music ever recorded. I like to run around and make monkey faces while Louis Prima is singing "I Wanna Be Like You."

"Under the Sea" is a good dance tune also. Conga line material.

I treasure my Hanna-Barbera kids' records from my own childhood. Pixie and Dixie... The Flinstones.

The latter contains the unforgettable Bowling Alley Blues

    Barney:
It's Friday night, and I've gotta date
Fred's comin' by, and he's never late!
Jump in the car, let's get rollin'
Tonight's the night we're goin' bowling!

    Fred:
I got the high on the headpin, bumpin' down the gutter blues
I got the high on the headpin, bumpin' down the gutter blues
I'm gonna hang up my shoes
'Cause I got the bowling alley blues

George, I think there are other people that agree with you on Disney.
I saw a video of some dude geeking out over some rare copy of "tale spin." I don't get it, personally.

(head low, shamed look on face)

    air supply

Happy? Huh? Once a year I get an urge to pop in air supply and my wife completely blows the moment by saying, "Honey, isn't that girl music?"

I better start hearing some stories from the grave from some of you....

You know, "Air Supply" has a soft spot for me. My mom loved them when I was wee lad and she used to sing "Air Supply" songs as well as John Denver songs to me and my sister when we were sick so we would go to sleep.

Other stuff to be "ashamed of"?

Well, John Denver. I just like him. Blame Jim Henson and his Muppets for that as well as my mom. But you know what? he may not have been the greatest performer but his talent for writing lyrics and music is up there with the best.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned: Rick Astley

    <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dQw4w9WgXcQ&quot; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yPYZpwSpKmA&quot; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

He catches alot of flak because his presentation was so lame but the dude's got pipes! Even today he can still belt out anything that made him famous. He's got perfect pitch and impeccable rhythm. His songs are just nice to listen to. Besides, you can do The Carlton to Astley's songs!

YES! Disney is awesome in the music department!

Another good one from "The Little Mermaid" is "Kiss The Girl"

Especially when done by a vision such as Colbie Calliat

That was my first confession. I can't help it. I thoroughly enjoyed his Vegas show "Music & Passion" so much so I bought the DVD.

Tony, if you're a Manilow fan, that DVD is must have, seriously.

Bobby Goldsboro wasn't bad WAAAAY back with stuff like "Little Things".

Nobody sings "Superstar" like Karen (Buddy Rich's favorite drummer).
