Rt2000i

Hello to all! Newbie on Club Polk! I Recently bought A pair of Rt2000i's on ebay as i have read great reviews on these! Wanted to upgrade my Rt600i's which i will now use for the rears, with a cs2 in the middle! The problem i am having is the green light(powered sub) goes out on 1 of the speakers whenever i change the channel on direct tv,or if i change songs on a cd! If i unplug the speaker from the wall(110v) and plug it back in the speaker will power up again, until i change the channel! The upper driver works all the time! I have these speakers hooked up to an Onkyo Tx-sr608,with the simple 2 speaker wire hookup from reciever to the upper sets on the speaker! I have tried to turn the subwoofer status on my reciever on/off with no help! So far these speakers have exceeded my expectation in every aspect INCLUDING BASS! Sometimes even with only 1 sub working! Any help would be greatly apprieciated! TY

I have fixed my problem with a new surge protector! However,if anyone can give info on multiple hookup options(which one works best) as the manual is rather bland! (and no i dont need a bi-wire-bi-amp debate) Any honest help would be greatly apprieciated! Also,i am running 100w/c, is there any significant improvements,in uping to 150w/c with these Rt2000i's! TY for all replies!"Everything I ever did in my life worthwhile I caught hell for"

It is better to be silent, and considered a fool, than to speak, and remove all doubt!"Everything I ever did in my life worthwhile I caught hell for" -
It might be helpful to explain what you mean by multiple hookup options, as well as letting us know what associated equipment you're running (AVR, amps, etc.)design is where science and art break even.

Sorry,i put that in the 1st post, and by hookup options i mean the rca sub out or removing the metal straps and using all 4 binding post, one way or another! I have never had powered towers or even bi-amped in my life,as i had rt600i's previously! (not to say these can be bi-amped) Just trying to learn, without buying a bunch of rca cables/speaker wires! Thanx for the input!"Everything I ever did in my life worthwhile I caught hell for"
