I just wanted to share with my amigos......

The redeployment order is in hand and yours truly will be on his way home SOON!

I'll be leaving lovely southwest Asia on the 2nd and back at home after a night in Baltimore on the 3rd.

Christ, almost 7 months. Who would have thought? I just want to say thanks to you guys for keeping me in touch with the world back home and keeping me sane.

I believe I know what you mean, Doc... I'd probably reword it as "You can't put a value on Freedom"... but it does indeed have a price... guys like Troy and any other servicemen and women willing to give their time away from family and home, away from comforts and relative safety, and in many cases, more each day, the willingness to give their life.

This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

All the more remarkable given that soldiers include me and my wife and children within the realm of "friends" and their love of country. Thank you to all.
