Right now? AC/DC Back in Black. Been a long time since I heard this album and you know what? It sounds pretty DAMNED GOOD!!!!

You, Mark, spinning vinyl? That's extraordinary!

I dislike the whole mantra and ritual behind playing single spinners of a borderline dead media. However, I've had a reference level turntable setup at my step-dad's house for years and know a lot about the genre.

You can't hate something if you don't know anything about it. Shocked?
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I'm lucky. Most of my "friends" went to Germany last year. I wasn't invited. Go figure! Anyway, they all went to Germany and now they are like beer experts or something and refuse to drink my beer because it's not what they consider "good". Aside from the ubiquitous 30 pack of Miller Lite, the only mass market beer in the fridge in Yuengling. Everything else is microbrews that most of them can't stomach anyway due to finicky palates.

Sometimes I WISH they would drink my beer 'cause I'm gonna get fat(ter) doing it all by myself!

    I'll drink your microbews .

I'll drink them too! Some homemade brew definitely has it going on...

Well, the wife just called and said she's on her way back. Just sittin' back right now watching a Blu-ray of Robin Hood, director's cut. With a cold beer still in hand, I look forward to seeing Kim and Aiden back in the house. Last night was really enjoyable, being able to listen to music at MY levels and enjoying entire albums with no interruptions. It was definitely fun for a night but, alas, snap back into reality time in t-minus 1 hour.

As much as I love my family there is nothing I like more then when I come home to find everyone out or when they all go out and leave me home for several hours.

I now have the ability to play guitar at any volume level I choose , I usually KRANK up at this moment as nothing sounds better then screaming tubes.

Also I will take the time to sit and listen to some music again at the volume I want and usually cranked up a bit.

Or I like to watch a movie at close to reference levels and experience the dynamic range of my system.

Other then that I like when everyone is home.
