My wife is leaving me........

My wife and my son Aiden just left town a couple of minutes ago. It's just me, some cold ones and a stereo that has been on for three days warming up for this exact moment. Oh, they'll be back tomorrow night but for one moment in time, I am alone with nothin' but some killer tunes to sit back and absorb into my audio soul.

Started off with a little bit of Vince Gill at my normal listening levels, not the wife is watching TV level. Not the kid is asleep levels. Not even the neighbors are home levels. Just real, honest to goodness goose bump style levels.

Life is great.

Hey, I ain't driving and I'm not gonna be on a ladder cleaning the chandelier. The only way I could hurt myself is to put on some Bette Midler or Vanilla Ice.

Dunno. I come from the school of thought that if they are friends that come to drink beer [whether it's mine or not] and we drink it all? They'll always make more. All my bud's usually come prepared themselves, but like I said, if they didn't? They'll make more and the store is a hop-skip-and a jump away.

I'm lucky. Most of my "friends" went to Germany last year. I wasn't invited. Go figure! Anyway, they all went to Germany and now they are like beer experts or something and refuse to drink my beer because it's not what they consider "good". Aside from the ubiquitous 30 pack of Miller Lite, the only mass market beer in the fridge in Yuengling. Everything else is microbrews that most of them can't stomach anyway due to finicky palates.

Sometimes I WISH they would drink my beer 'cause I'm gonna get fat(ter) doing it all by myself!

While I may not be qualified to answer that question, I'm overqualified to demonstrate how to consume it. My entire family has taught me the ways.

Let me share something with all of you.....a little bit of trivial **** that means nothing to anybody. My wife and I went to the lake house last year and 3 of my cousins walked up to me as soon as I got out of the truck excited as hell to tell me about something that they made especially for me.

It was a two story, 3 beer bong that was built to be used on the boat dock! Gotta love my family...

No, I still have not found the time. I have some now but it has been nearly three weeks since audio bliss. I think I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the moment for now. Pink Floyd is playing and sending goose bumps down my body as I type. Sounds pretty damned good being one amp down and all.....

Heck, I still haven't found the time to hook up the SMS-1 to the subs either. DOH! Oh well, I can say that I AM enjoying the tunes right now! Oh, how I am enjoying the tunes....

Nope, sober as always actually but I'm all about spinning a good album on vinyl or CD. What are you listening to?
