Kinda makes me wanna buy a set and power them with a Sherwood just to see you guys' reactions.

Does anyone know what the impedances are going to be like, or the efficiency?
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Is the mid tweeter on the top binding post with the subs on the bottom, or is it tweeter only on the top and the mids/sub on the bottom? It looks to me like the subs are separate?

4 ohm, ~90db, the top section is isolated and the same in all models, the woofers are on a separate board.

The 90db helps, but I wish the ohm rating was 8. I prefer the 4ohm myself, but we all know that the sales people are going to push them for use with a receiver:frown: I do seriously want to get my ears on them. They look fantastic!
    Cheers

    Hi,

For those like me who are concerned about space constraints, here are the dimensions of the floor-standing models.
In response to a request, Al Ballard was kind enough to furnish the physical dimensions of the floor-standing models.

    Here are the measurements:

    LSiM707
    9 1/2" x 50 13/16" x 18 7/16"
    24.1 cm x 129.1 cm x 46.8 cm

    LSiM705
    8 5/16" x 47" x 14 3/8"
    21.1 cm x 119.4 cm x 36.5 cm

I think 6-ohm would be a nice happy medium. AVR-compatible, yet still beneficial with an amplifier. The 90dB will be a nice relief though!

I noticed that the drivers are screwed from the inside will that make it harder for any upgrades down the line? Must say it's a very clean front baffel.

The problem is finding quality drivers that are 6-8ohm. You would also loose a few dB of efficiency.

    No they're not. ;)

Nominal impedance and efficiency (sensitivity) are inversely proportional?
