    Hi Al,
It's all a go for the Saturday April 16th at my place. The Pass Labs amp is working well and the SDA 2.3 speakers are sounding sweet. The day after tax day will be a good time for a polkfest.

What do you think about 2pm? I live in SW area of West Seattle. Thistle and 29th, Seattle Wa. 98126. I will pm anyone that's interested. I'll have a homebrew IPA ready in time for the gathering. Should be fun!

I am hoping to be able to make it, the wife has given the ok, but it is a very busy time for me. My wife has been very sick lately, and probably won't be making the trip this year as she did last year when she was with me at the meet. There is a possibility I may bring my daughter, but she will be at a friends house there, and will most likely be going to keep me awake on the ride out and back, but I will be at the meet myself. Also, the following Saturday I will be leaving for my 2 week rotation to Moses Lake as part of our runway closure. I can bring anything in my sig, but I doubt there will be much interest in anything other than the Monitor 10's. Hope to have a better answer soon, and be able to make it.

Rock it. Get this thing going. Left coasters have been lacking, let's raise and set the bar somewhere. Texas PF started with 4 guys, at an apartment in Austin, look where we are now.

    You have my full support.

    Cheers,

I knew someone was gonna say that, I swear I almost went back and edited my post to exclude the big screen, lol. That thing is a beast, you've seen it Al, it would never fit in my SUV. Thanks for the support Russ, this will be the second annual I guess, last year was a blast. Looking foward to this one, hope I can make it.

Hey, I just live up north (South Everett not to be confused with... well the rest of Everett) and was wondering if I am too new or if there will be too many people. I was over at a friends discussing how there was a meet coming up and we have both been getting into audio a little more lately. Not sure how that weekend is looking for me but if any food or more beer is needed I wouldn't be against bringing anything since I don't have any fine audio equipment to provide like you guys!

Basically I am asking is this an open invite?

We love meeting new folks. I think I probably speak for most of us when I say that anyone who loves to listen to music, is a fan of Polk speakers both old and new, is interested in audio....and is house-trained (I'm thinking of Jeff's best interests here!) is a more-than-welcome addition to the party.

I also think that a lot of us would like to see this turn into an annual thing. And, in that case, the more people who come and enjoy, the merrier!

Hope to meet you there, if you're interested in coming.

It's nice to met wives (like Jeff's very patient and gracious spouse last year), and friends too....that's how Roger and I met, and we have developed a good friendship in the process of me working on his speakers for several months.

I emailed him a few weeks ago, and told him when the get-together was. I'll try to get in touch with him again. Ya, we need to bring the boy back into the fray.

Jesse22, I am sure the host of this gathering Jeff (bikerboy) would enjoy having a couple more people at this gathering. Hope you can stop by even for just a little while. This is the second year we've gotten together as a group. Some of use don't live in the Puget Sound area and have to travel across the state to attend. but i'm always willing to do that.

contact Jeff (bikerboy) for his address by sending him a private message well in advance of that weekend.

if you do decide you can make it.. extra food and beer is always welcome

Thanks for the kind words about the Mrs. LOL, Rosie says Hi and thank you btw. I don't think I am going to be able to make it though, sadly. I was really looking forward to going, but my rotation to Moses Lake got pushed up a week and I'll be leaving on the 16th as luck would have it. Once I get there I can't leave, which sucks since I would be an hour and a half closer than I am now, lol. May be able to work some magic, but I would say the door is closing fast on this year for me.
