    Most are just trying to be supportive of Larry because his dedication on this forum can be seen within the pages, and meaning things in a joking manner in their posts (like myself). Sorry if some took it at face value.

    You're kind of missing the point.

    It's been over 6 months according to the OP. That's already beyond unacceptable as far as the forum is concerned. Shafted or not in the long run, 6 months is too damn long. I hope the person makes good and he gets his money, but the forum still deserves to know about it.

    Best move would have been to never have started the thread if this is what we're gonna get.

    Larry, Give it to after the first of the year, if no communication has taken place by then you have to out them. We take pride in keeping the FS section a quality place to buy and sell regardless who it is. Hopefully it won't come to that and you'll get this resolved.

    Im not all for the bashing, but it would be nice to know for future reference for ALL of us as potential Buyers/Sellers.

Whether he gets paid or not, we have someone on the forum who thinks its acceptable to ignore PMs and E-Mails to the point that an item(s) hasn't been paid for in 6+ months.     I see his point, too. He's hoping that this thread will wake this person up and he'll get paid. If he gets paid, then what? All is over? Unless that person posts in this thread, what's the rest of the forum to do knowing that there's someone who thinks its cool to take this long to pay for an item(s)?

    My main point is that there has to be some deterrent for this type of behavior. The damage has been done. The way we've always dealt with this is letting the forum know who the person is. I've seen it before where folks have gotten way down on their luck and manned up with the seller and the forum. Same unwritten rules apply here, I think.

    I understand how Larry feels and I know that he hopes this person comes through after seeing this thread because no one wants to ruin someones rep especially if its a trusted respected oldtimer here because there will be a backlash that will occur if it is, ive seen this before, its a shame but true.

    If this person happened to be doro russ shack jesse or someone similar half the peeps here will rush to make excuses for this persons behavior and you know what that sucks because no one should be above the law or the rules written or unwritten.

    I understand having problems etc but 6 months is not excusable especially if this person is ignoring you. Sometimes you have to do the right thing and drop the bomb and let the chips fall where they may.

    If the people here dont support you Larry then their no better than the guy who has done this IMHO.

    I totally agree. If I were the one, I would most likely post it here and tell on myself.

    If there is a good excusable reason for this happening the people here would probably understand and maybe even chip in to help the person out.

    This is a great place with great members, we don't always agree on everything and that is okay, would be boring if we did..

    I think with all that has been said that I would most likely post the name, I think others should know, good or bad.

    I also think the rules apply to everyone, some may get forgiven quicker than others, that just life.

    One, this has nothing to do with me. Two, why would anyone make excuses for the members that you mentioned?...let alone me personally.
