Who has a personal vendetta against you? I don't. I figured you out a long time ago. I don't don't post in your threads. I don't really care what you post. I actually agree with a good chunk of your political views. Even though we are not supposed to post politics. Should I quote that rule for you? It is real simple. I don't like when people waste other peoples time when it comes to sales. If you really want something then buy it. Some people if not most are selling gear because they need the money. Don't string them along and play games. I am not just talking about this one thread either. You know better.
    Cheers
    Ben

You have no freeking clue what my dealings with this amp were outside of what I have posted here. I don't like haggling..PERIOD. I put my best price out there, up front. The seller did not meet that, so that should be the end of the story, right??? No, not in this case as you have single handedly turned this thread into your own personall campaign about me.

We all know you have had your demons to deal with Ben, and I have been nothing but supportive of what you are going throughboth in open forum and in private. I have a guy at work whose personallity is much like yours, and when he isn't so busy going out of his way to be a dick and inserting his personal feelings on matters that have absolutely nothing to do with him, he is actually a nice guy, and we could get along well... hell might actually be able to be friends.

If you want to continue dumping on my threads, or to assume you know all the details of my dealings with others when you actually know less than what a gnat dumps in the woods, kindly place me on ignore and leave me there. I know I will be doing the same for you.

Thought you were done in this thread John? Apparently not, why doesn't that surprise me.

Um he never wanted it in the first place. He picked a price that he was sure the guy wouldn't drop down to. He has a track record of this.

Hmmm, thats not cool,,,why would anyone waste their, and others time doing that????

Just got off the phone with the amp's owner... He seems to be a straight shooter that just wants a good home for this amp. He dropped his price to 750 for me... If it werent for these tubes I am slaving over, this amp would be mine. I hope tubes are worth passing on this one.

So you had no intention of buying it to start with? Please help me understand.

John wanted to pay $700. The seller, who had the amp listed at $950 o.b.o, wouldn't go lower than $750. Of course, this is not the price John wanted to pay, so he didn't. And that should have been the end of it, but instead it's sunken into **** childish drama for whatever reason.

I suppose John is expected to just pay asking price on an o.b.o listing from now on, is what i'm getting from these comments.

We won't know for sure if John had the intention to buy it, unless the seller contacts John back again and says "sure, i'll take $700." If at that point, John doesn't buy, then the comments, (while still pointless and a waste of time/energy) will have some merit.

It snowed hard here yesterday, but it was too warm for anything to really stick. Supposed to get some tomorrow, though. I'm a little excited, want to play with the new Cherokee.

I knew something was up when this thread hit 3 pages.

    I'm glad I took a peek inside. :D
