    i did 6 years on the USS Bremerton SSN 698, a stint on the USS Los Angeles SSN 688. worked for SIMA in San Diego and did a short tour in Hawaii in PH while in Dry Dock. got out last year on Med Discharge. still waiting for my Disability to kick in.

    A VERRRRRRY WIDE shot across the bow. We don't want to piss the Chinese military off, just a little heads up. That's why it occurred 35 miles off of the coast of Los Angeles.
    IT WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN but not to be perceived as an imminent threat by the Chinese military.
    If the Navy could have launched that missile from the San Diego Municipal pool, they would have. Dang sub was too big to fit into the pool though. :wink:

    And that was a missile contrail.
    Although Boeing is very proud of its new 787 Dreamliner, only in their wildest dreams could they ever hope for a contrail like that. :smile:

    ..... especially with their Rolls Royce engines. Ask EADS about their Airbus Rolls engines. :wink:

    I'm with some of you, don't believe a word government tells me. My guess is none of them want to admit to it, because once you do,you have to explain it. Then soom heads will have to roll, the prez will look bad, along with the defense dept. for not knowing or letting it happen. Kills me to see people go on TV and claim it was an optical illusion. How friggin' dumb do they think people are ? Well, obviously very dumb.

    No, actually the price of food would sky-rocket because there would be no cheap labor to grow / harvest it, and generally speaking, most Americans are too lazy to take these jobs if they were available.

    Why should they ? The government pays you to not work,and most likely more than working your butt off out in the hot sun everyday. But if you did away with that, partially anyway,you'd be surprised how fast the average joe would take to the fields.
