don't freak out too much.. CRP's can be high for a number of reasons and is an imprecise, non-specific indicator for many issues.. let your physician do all the interpreting

muscle aches stiffness or weakness, etc. would make one think seriously
about giant cell arteritis (temporal arteritis) or polymyalgia rheumatica.
If instead you're younger than 50, that would be very unlikely
and one would think more about a number of other things first,
including but not limited to a weird-**** reaction to a flu shot.cristo

All right then.
I thought with the numbers being so far off, that would be a serious sign. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
I'm lucky as I don't usually get sick - it's pretty hard for just about anything to live in my bloodstream as I mostly subsist on beer, junk food and lots of exercise.:eek:
But every 5-10 years I do get REALLY sick where I'm down for weeks, like up to 10 weeks sometimes. Good thing it only happens infrequently. :frown::frown:

Well, looking back I guess it's only happened 2 times. First time I was in my 20's working full time and going to school at night like 12-15 credit hours, engineering school - OUCH. Plus the school I was going to was over an hour away one way. Just got really burned out and crashed and got really sick.
Second time I was about 49 and just had a terrible year. Mother died, 3 pets died, legal problems, money problems, you name it. Got stressed out and crashed and burned. Got sick and could not kick it. This time I went to a doctor. He explained to me that what I had was likely mutating and coming around to kick my butt again. Took a couple months to get totally feeling better.
