I'm sure there are other good ones out there as well. The important thing is to take it at the first sign of getting sick so it can hopefully knock it out before it goes full blown.

    LMAO! hahaha oh wow

Anyway, think some of you guys need to eat healthy and build up your immune system.

I never get sick, and have never been sick as far as I can remember.

I did have minor muscle pains when I got my small pox shot (while in the marines) but that's it. Completely different I know, but alot of our guys got sick after receiving the small pox shot.

If you are allergic to something in that shot, and this is not just a flu type symptom response, you need to take heed!

An allergic reaction of this magnitude is a definate warning sign. People die of allergic reactions. It's the next time that is the problem. You need to contact the doc and if it were me I'd look it up online on webmd or somewhere and find out if these symptoms are within range of 'flu type' or if it is something else. They may not be able to distinguish between the two which is not good news for you.

I've never heard of anyone with this severe a reaction but I'm not Dr. Carter.

Well today I'm still sick but not like I was yesterday

My muscles ache and I have a really sore head but it now just seems like a plain old fashioned flew with my temp @97
At least now I am able to walk around without feeling like I'm going to collapse due to dizziness and lack of strength in my body

I went to the lab today to get some blood work done and asked the tech about how I felt and she said no you should not get sick at all

I did find some info papers in the car about the shot .I musta forgot about it but indeed it did say about contacting your doc. I called ask a nurse and she said it was ok to take ibuprofen if my temp was lower than 101 . These really helped take my fever down

I did not wana go to the ER last night because it costs alot of money and my insurance doesnt cover it .

Do you guys still think I should contact my doctor and tell him about this? I kinda feel like a puss if I did

It can't hurt to tell your doc.

Just call the doctor. You're doing this in case you have an allergy you need to monitor later; not because you are or are not a puss.

Well I can assure you that I never had a case of the stanky leg . My symptoms were quite real with the most excruciating painful flu symptoms I have ever had in my life

My wife was trying to call me friday morn and she thought I was dead after I missed her calls because I was sleepin hard . The poor thing took off from work and drove home all in a panic to make sure I was ok

It blows my mind why you would even question my posts ??? you kinda seem like an **** . I thank everyone else on here for your concerns as it means alot to hear kind words from strangers

Today I'm just laying around sweatin my **** off but otherwise I'm @ 95%

I dont see the point of getting sick to not get sick

I am so pissed I was told nothing before having my shot . I feel like the doctors office should compensate me for the day I missed

I'd rather feel like crap for a day or two than come down with the real thing.

Wimp. No one calls in sick for that type of stuff. Carry around one of those far too small curved bark troughs.

Our office has given about 600 flu shots this year (including myself and our staff)
and have heard very little in the way of complaints so far. Nonetheless, severe
reactions (although rare) certainly can occur.

Nah, I wasn't saying that you were doing a hoax, just havin' a little laugh. Sorry if you were confused, I was one of the ones that said to go to a doctor ASAP earlier in the thread. I said that with genuine concern and nothing else in mind. Hope you're 100% soon and your sense of humor is too!

don't freak out too much.. CRP's can be high for a number of reasons and is an imprecise, non-specific indicator for many issues.. let your physician do all the interpreting =)
