Glad to hear you're still with us Ben! And I hope you have a long run with your family. The fact that you didn't see anything...is not really of any consequence. Different people experience different things, length of time out, etc. are all factors in what people experience in the Near Death equation.

Hope you feel better and that they figure out what triggered all this.

All our best to you and yours!

Just wondering what you saw? You said you were unharmed so it wasnt a near death or out of body experience a real dumbass experience perhaps

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    Hey Ben,
I'm glad your back with your girls and us.

I had an experience at age 20. Diving accident.
I saw the million lights all around and felt energy ask if I wanted to stay on earth or move on.
You can guess my answer to it.

I was under water and didn't swallow a drop of water while this transpired. After answering, the darkness and lights gave way slowly to a bright light which was the sun shinning on the waters surface. I then just floated to the surface as if I was lying on my back. I truly felt the experience was something so clear and special as to remember as if it happeded yesterday or today even.(30 yrs. ago it happened)
Yes there was overpowering calm and peace associated with the presence of that moment which seemed to last about 30 seconds or more.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Good to hear you are still with us Ben. I truly hope they can fix you up soon. Prayers for you and your family sent. Hang in there man.

As for the light thing, my dad a few years ago was paddled back to life six times and never saw the light. His heart just stopped beating. He had a triple by-pass new valve installed and a pace-maker/defibrilator put in. Been living well ever since. The defibrilator has never had to work either.

Take it easy Ben and spend as much time with your girls as you can!.

Unfortunately it takes crap like this to point out what's really important in life. I just find it amazing how ordinary daily stuff seems to take over your life without you even noticing until something like this happens.

Best wishes and get well soon.

Dang Ben, I hate hearing this. Take care of yourself. GIve me a call anytime buddy.
Need anything? Just hit me on the cell.

I never died but I was in the Obituaries once. I'd left my wallet in my buddys truck and he had a wreck and died. Mistaken identy. Well, at least I hope so anyway.
Now, that's something that's hard to handle over the phone. NO ONE has that situation built into the system.
