    reading that article
gave stats about people waiting for transplants.

The purpose of creating bioartificial livers is to mitigate the organ donor shortage -- a persistent and growing problem in the U.S. During his talk, Baptista said the most recent statistics show that 109,000 people are awaiting organ transplants, 16,000 of whom are waiting for a donor liver.

    Ben,

I'm glad you're still alive. Good luck with everything.

BTW, try to make me that pin/blade before you're dead. joke.

Seriously though, make that pin/blade NOW; it's obviously more important than anything else in your life right now.

    Cheers to a healthy life,

    Ben

    Ben,

I would argue that if you believe in "seeing a light" wouldn't it make sense that the source of that "light" would know if you were actually going to go to where the "light" is (the singularity) or not. If that's true, then you can say that since you didn't "go to the light" the source of that light knew you wouldn't and therefore you didn't "see the light" because you were not intended to as it wasn't time for you to. You actually have to "go to the light" to "see the light". OK, enough with the light thing I know but I hope it gets the point across and I wouldn't worry about it. Just do the best you can do at raising your kids and setting a good example.

I hope a donor is found for you soon Ben, prayers are sent your way. We all are hoping the best for you. Take care.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Hey Ben, feel better man! By the way, I found a pair of your silver cables a few days agin and dropped them between my new tube amp and DAC and couldn't believe the synergy! Whew, you ousted a pair of MAC cables which is pretty impressive in my opinion.

    Get well soon, buddy.

Welcom back Ben. 15 years ago I had a heart attack and fell in a park the EMS driver told my friends I was dead not so. The doctor said I was gone for 7-10 mins. then was in a coma for 6 days. They told my wife that I may never walk or talk again as I was out so long.
So hang in there as things can get alot better.
    Good Luck.
