Polk Audio PSW1000
Hey guys,
Just curious , what went on with the psw1000 that it no longer exists in the line up? I know new LSi speakers are coming out or are out but what happened with the PSW1000? When I worked for a LSI dealer , we had the 1000 and then it was gone. We sold Velodyne and Martin Logan subs with LSI speakers.
So what happened with it?

No, I believe the 1000 was troublesome."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Thought they reworked the psw1000's. The old ones had amp problems correct? -

The LSiW had amp problems. The PSW1000 replaced it and was fine. Not sure why it was discontinued. Probably the new Micropro line.____________________________________________________________

yep. There are now replacement amps you can buy straight from Polk and I think they cost around 250 or so are are to be better and not have the problems as the others had.

Tweeter was clearing them out before I bought my RTis in 2008.

The micropro's are a big step up from the 1000. Glad Polk is headed in the right direction.
