That's good to hear Kevin, I would have loved to own them but the drive was just going to be too much. Glad they are staying in the family. Congrats, Brian

A little Polk bartering - SRS 2s for 2.3s with a little cash and a tweeter to be named later. Had enough time to get the spikes on them and get them in place and listen to a few tunes - so far so good. I may need to have a Colorado gathering this summer.
    7.3 HT: Sunfire TGR-3, Sunfire Series II, Mirage OMD-28, OMD-5 (x4), REL T1 (2), T2, Oppo 103D, Optoma HD8200PRO, 106" screen, SB Touch
Family Room: Yamaha RX-V2700, RT25i, 42" Samsung, SB Duet
    Pool: Yamaha V2700, SQ Duet, Atrium 60 (2), Atrium 45 (3), Atrium 65sdi

Bartering? I am sorry. I guess my self and many others were under the impression cash was a necessity not a different set of speaks. Did I miss something?

Done! And don't most good trades have "a player to be named later" clause? Guess I need to be a better negotiator.

You didn't miss anything. I don't have the room or money for 2 sets of SDAs. I get to upgrade my speakers. Kevin gets some cash and is able to stay in the hobby he loves at least for a while longer.

The part you are "missing" is the amount of cash he received. You don't know if it was $50 or $800. Everything you and the forum have done for Kevin is awesome - don't let your imagination change that.

Yep, that's what I ****-u-me-d as well. It'd have been interesting to trade all 3 sets of SDA's I have for them.
But if I think of it, my wife would be pretty maaaaad.

    Klipsch RB81, KG3.5, B&W DM602.5, Polk.
Subwoofers: Klipsch RW10, Triad ProSub Bronze.

    Interesting choice of words Brian.

The last thing I want is the idea that this effort wasn't needed nearly as much as I perceived but since that is now the case, hows this for imagination....

The Paypal total was $340 bucks. I sent a round 5 hun you figure out where the rest came from. In between sending and going back to close the PP account another 20 hit it. There's the totals for those interested. I will be sending the checks back to the senders unopened so the total of those is anyone's guess. I feel really 'effin stupid right now and suffice it to say I learned my lesson of online charity. I am sure with you being a good enough buddy, to swap out a set of speakers instead of buying them outright with an option to buy back later as we discussed on the phone (which would have given him 1300 for his deductible), he has all the local support he needs should the situation take a turn for the worse.
    Too much **** to list....

Jesus effing Christ. I just got on here to tell everyone that it is not cancer and I should not be concerned with the cyst. But I do have a condition that is causing me to have an abundance of kidney stones, I just passed another one yesterday. Brian was not going to have all the money until the beginning of March so he gave me 460 and his speakers so I could sell those That was all he could do, I figured selling a set of 4-5 hundred dollar speakers would be easier than a set of 8-9 hundred dollar speakers. here is the listing http://fortcollins.craigslist.org/ele/3610735296.html I was going to post them here and offer them to forum members for $400. I just worked a 12 hr shift to try and make up lost wages and was going to post them here when I got home. Then I come home to this. Does anyone want a list of all the other stuff I have for sale and other stuff I have sold? So far we are in the hole about $3,700 for my wife and me that the insurance will not cover of which I have sold about $700. I never asked for any of this, but for all of those that did give I greatly appreciate it. I was going to go out and take my wife to the Applebees 2-$20 and celebrate not having cancer unless anyone objects?

Why can't I PM you? Don't mind the foolishness I know you have always been a stand up guy, I know what you did and why. Also it's not like you came here asking for hand outs..
