SDA SRS 2.3tl

Since no interest was generated by my reg 2.3's and I am wanting to continue my audio journey up on the chopping block are my 2.3tl's. They have had a couple drivers replaced with the right older vintage ones, new tweeters and the crossovers have been rebuilt with all 1% Daytons and new resistors. I have replaced the grill cloth and side cloth and refinished the wood tops and bottoms. I also replaced the stock badges with smaller "Polk Audio" badges. I have also glued the magnets. Asking $1200 Firm.
The 2.3 are still for sale, which ever sells first I will keep the other unless somebody wants to give me $2000 for both;)
If somebody buys both pairs I will throw in a 6511 and a 6510 older vintage two newer 6511 and two Sonance 60wpc amps.
any interests or questions please take to PM. Thank you!

Thanks, I hate to get rid of any of them, but in order to take another step forward something has to go. I might head to Cherry creek audio today and check some stuff out. No I don't have a extra pin blade Larry. -
Thanks Kevin.
There have been so many SDA's for sale in Colorado lately and these are the best for ones money right now. Plug and play, new tweeters, crossovers = no brainer IMO!!

Dang, I didn't see his price cut. That definitely was a great deal considering all the upgrades. But I would have been tempted to buy them AND keep my SRS's! Looks like they're off the chopping block for now though... -

Must.... resist..... urge.
My biggest problem would be where to put them. People already think my house looks like a speaker store sales floor. Not to mention, those have 198's, and all of my other Polks have SL-2000's (and soon to be 194's).
Good luck with the sale! I'll let you know if I change my mind. -

OK thanks, had to move them yesterday by myself, not fun but definitely not going to be able to use them where we are moving too. -
This is the last of your polks? Right?? Hate to see you letting them go.. if they were 3.1's I would have been there by now.. LOL

If only I had the money to finish my basement off so I'd have a place to put these... If you need someone to hold them in storagE let me know!
-
Yes the last of the Polk's. I don't want to get rid of them but need the money more now anyway. I have only room to set up one system. Our landlord just decided to put our place on the market and we didn't want to be part of that fiasco so we found a place and are moving, only thing is we didn't pay rent for this month and paid the other guy and need to get out ASAP so its a marathon move. Moving to another part of town but no basement, but it is a house, and I am guessing the living room will sound great. Well crap I have been up working and moving since 5 am and am tired.
-
Update. we came back to the old house after moving some stuff and there was a foreclosure notice on the door, I am glad I have good instincts and we decided to move and have the bulk of out stuff out.
and BTW bump.
