Most people have more than 2 things to plug in, so I'd like to know what everyone uses. Cheapo power strip? Power conditioner? What are you using and do you like it?

I use a PS Audio Power Plant Premier on my 2 Channel and a PS Audio Duet on my HT. The PPP dramatically lowers the noise floor in my system and regulates the power to eliminate the nasty electrical noise from people using appliances and the elevator in my apartment. The Duet makes the picture of my PJ noticeably crisper.

SurgeX SEQ Power Conditioner and I also use the Tripp Lite LCR2400.

The sequencing on the SurgeX is awesome. I hit a button and it turns everything on in banks, which eliminates my need for 12V trigger. I can just leave everything in the ON position (Amps, Subs)

Tripplite HT-7300PC. It even comes with a little remote for being able to turn 4 banks of outlets off and on or it can be done via IR jacks in the back. I need to tie my amp into it and use the built-in timer to delay it behind everything else when turned on by the Harmony remote. (gotta look into that)

Amps straight to the wall. Everything else goes into a Monster 3500. Generally not a Monster fan, but I picked this up several years ago when they were being blown out for about $100. For that price, it's a nice piece.

Taken from a Stereo Repair website:

    Surge Protection:

This one is simple. If you are reading this it is safe to assume you own a computer. Every computer book, magazine and owners manual pounds you over the head with messages about how you have to use a high quality surge protector or your computer will eventually be destroyed by a line surge. This is absolutely correct . The same goes for stereo equipment. Not using surge protection on stereo equipment is just plain stupid. As the chances are that you do not use a surge protector on your stereo (or TV or VCR) you may now feel insulted. Good. Now go out and buy a surge protector. You will save a lot of money someday. Trust us on this, we don't even sell surge protectors. Also note: so-called surge protectors sold at home centers for 4.99 are about as useful as the "CD lens cleaners" you see hanging on racks in discount stores.

I've got a small Panamax (the cheapie), but my power amp is plugged directly to the wall. Next house we build will have a dedicated 30amp circuit for my audio.

I use a panamax as well. I have the M5300-PM. It's mid-field in the panamax line. It has the voltage and current meters on the front. I plug everything into it except my amp which is wall powered (same as your rig).

I have no idea if it's actually doing anything good, but I can't plug all this stuff into the wall so...

But I have a few bucks to spend so I was considering the PS-Audio Power Plant Premier, but I just can't pull the trigger on that much money (even at the healthy discount my dealer has offered me). So I'll be sticking with the panamax, which I suspect is actually pretty good.

BTW, how do you like your Fritz Carbons? From what I've ready I suspect they are very Dynaudio-like. How long have you had them?
