Hey Serendipity, I'd hate to say this but this is the internet.

If I had someone call me an **** or something along those lines, I'd just brush it off and move on (whether it was true or not).

Let's all enjoy the music now :D

No one ever called anyone an **** here.

Calling out someone's credibility? 1000X more disrespectful, IMO.

and also just because your a TA doesn't have crap to do with riding a bike. Trust me, it doesn't. If it did then I know a few people that would still be alive today because they were smart fellows, just not the greatest with bike skills.

He does not know me, I am a very safe person on the road as other people's lives are at stake. If I do a stupid stunt on a motorcycle and crash, hitting someone else's windshield, I could seriously hurt or kill someone. Driving is a responsibility, and so is riding a motorcycle. Which when he said "you have no business on a bike" I'm thinking are you kidding, you have no idea how much of a responsible driver I am.

It was an example, although not a good one in your opinion.

Again, it's the internet and though you find what was said very disrespectful...there's not much to do. I'd just let it go, IMO.

This thread is sure to get shut down because it's just pointless bickering now. What then? Will you create a new thread in an attempt to receive an apology?

    Just let it go!

Am curious though, why is the subject of driving+motorcycles brought up?

I used to ride, hence my username kawizx9r - Kawasaki ZX9R. After that I had a Honda CBR F4i. Miss those bikes...

I guess we'll just come to the conclusion he still doesn't get that he broke the golden rule of relationships, that you NEVER judge someone (there's a thing called prejudice), or challenge someone's credibility. If you disagree, just agree to disagree.

Would he say "Hmmmm...your credibility just flew out the window" to me in person? Probably not.

Yes, I would and you can forget about an apology as I have said nothing to warrant one.

Lol now I just find this funny.

Everyone's different, that's for sure. But anything I'd say in text whether in a forum/email I'd easily say it in person. I believe there are plenty of others that are just the same way.

The ignore & report buttons are wonderful tools on forums. If you feel you have been wronged use these buttons & life gets a lot better on forums like these.

You will ALWAYS find people on forums that simply have no manners, or like causing trouble, or become instant bullies behind the safty of their computers.

This is why those 2 buttons were invented. Just use them.

I have no problem with you calling BS - you have the right to question.

On the other hand, a comment like "your credibility just flew out the window" is TOTALY UNCALLED FOR.

Understood, and you've made it abundantly clear to everyone that's even glanced over at this thread. However, if things weren't resolved then let it go.

There is no need to continue since it's getting you nowhere. Agree to disagree just as you stated, and be done with it.

Jesse feels he has no need to apologize, and he's entitled to believe what he wants.

You believe you deserve an apology, and you're entitled to believe what you want.

The both of you however disagree, just forget it about it then bro. It's not the end of the world if you don't get what you want! If I got what I wanted, sheesh...I tell you what :p

I've been here for three years - Feb. 2007 through now, which is becoming close to 4 years now.

I have NEVER, ever been disrespected in a such a manner. I post about motorcycle safety and he calls me out. Then say that Bose cubes aren't that bad, they sounded similar to my $500 HTiB system and better than a cheap HTiB. And he calls me out again. Ridiculous!

That's right, I will do everything in my power to have F1nut banned.
