Ok.....here's my beef.....

When you want to quote someone, there's no need to paste every single word that they typed when you're responding to a specific point. Cut out the part you're responding to and leave it at that.

I only mention this because it's something that I'm seeing a LOT lately.............oh.....and cuz it bugs the hell outta me. HA.

Do we have to do this about every stupid thing?? First it was, the sigs are to long,

then we shouldn't list all our equipment, only 3 lines,

then we should/should not post pictures other than speakers in the showcase,

****!!!! what can we do that will make everyone happy??

Can we just post, what about all the stupid **** in the sigs, like we see alot, NOT a gear list, just quotes of other quotes or something people said, I for one know sid put something i said on and i didn't care for him to do it just recently..

But it's like, is it worth the trouble to say something?? NO

Give me a **** break. I realize that you cut and pasted everything in the thread into your quote, but there are posts that people have quoted that are as long as that, if not longer. That's why I did this thread. If you don't like it, move on.

I'm just saying, that I'm going to read the posts, then I don't want to have to read someone's entire post again to get what the person is actually responding to. I don't think that it's an outlandish request, nor was it meant to provoke people into getting bent at the request. In the same breath, if ya don't agree, you can say that in 3 words......

Do whatever you want I suppose with your posts......I'm just voicing that to me, it's 100% unnecessary for people to do, and especially to the extreme level that people are doing it lately......

My sig is quotes that I've found funny. It's not excessive, it's not double spaced so that it takes up all the room it possibly could on the screen, and it's not offensive to any person in here....period. My sig has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Quoting that i described at the beginning of this thread. Apples to oranges doesn't do anything to make your point to be honest.

You suggested that I bring this up in a different way. I started a post on the forum under the Off Topic section. What exactly is your problem with the way I brought this up? I think that I worded it pretty clearly and semi-playful, no?

The F words are just me playin around. If you have seen an F word by me that's been intentionally meant as rude and insulting towards someone (which has happened with just a couple people), then perhaps you're misinterpreting my delivery. Number 1 above may be one of those times. Maybe it'd be different if you heard me say it, but that's not the reality of this forum.

I'm not angry, and no, it hasn't been raining here in Phoenix for a while.

I only mentioned the F word thing, as it struck me.. some members " I " think of as productive cool and calm... like Dr.Spec for instance and when some one of those said members starts showing anger or vulgerity it just strikes me as something might be wrong. It's not an attack

It would be like when your young and have an idle for what ever reason,(singer, baseball player, comedian,smart family member) you start out with respect for this person for thier knowledge maybe or ability, and all the upfront stuff, then you find out(hypithetical (sp) )) that they smoke crack, drink like a alcoholic, and beat their wife...(this was a streych but you get the point)

you lose that respect after that

Nah, Dan I don't want a piece. Did I react to a post of yours over in the "harsh tweets" thread? Yup. But your character has always been as a defender of it's "in the ears". And there I felt you dis'd another member's speakers and his moves to get them sounding better. I felt it was because it was running against your paradigms and called you on it. No name-calling, just a line... If your post was in jest, I missed the humor, as did dangerboy.

I think you're a stand up guy with as strong a rep for honesty, and fair dealing as there is in this Club. The wire sale proved it all once again. I also think you have a vast amount of experience and lend it freely. And while I may not yet be a true believer in the miracles of wire, I am not the skeptic I once was. Mostly this is due to your and the growing legion of converts to whom you have shown the light.

However, sometimes I think you not only show people the door, but shove them through it. And if others say, well you know Dan there are other doors, you may react less than graciously.

But it's all good by me. I don't take disagreement personally, and I try to keep my posts from getting personal. Not perfect, but think I have a pretty good batting average on that count. Did not even react to your POS comment on my NIB IRIQ. On the other hand, I do play a lot and sometimes my humor is not appreciated and/ or misunderstood. Its happened with you before and Ive apologized.

Anyway, I'll still be happy to come to your open house to referee you and TD...

I can respect your reply.Humor in here is mistaken all the time.I can't seem to make a joke without everyone wanting to put there foor in my ****.Track record,bad attitude whatever it is I just wanted to get past it.

The Harsh tweeter thead hit home Bro.I loved/Hated my complete RT system which I worked on very hard to get where I thought I wanted it.Hell I had 4 different receivers to try to find my sound.Not everyone is the same I know that and dealing with problems is personal with advice being a underlying guidence.I got rid of my rt series as you know.I moved on as I came to the conclusion of graduating,growing out of or just realizing the rt series was not for me.I meant no disrespect to Danger Boy or anyone else on that thead.

Cabin fever could be truth to that with all the rain.I feel it's still lurking around here.Maybe straight instead of reverse......

What's that saying about failure to plan... ?
