    I personally like the cable debate threads for the most part they can be intertaining as long as the bashing one another can stay somewhat tame.. noboby is going to like everyone/everything no matter where you are or go, It's just life and living no big deal.

    But we do have a choice to respond or not that is one control we all have. and in the end we all like different things, and one thing is the same that we do share. good Music, and a good Movie with the best system we can piece together..

    IMO good cables do make a difference for some it may not. I really think the cable difference depends on the quality of ones rig, and that is why some dont find the need for better cables and don't believe. And some with quality gear just don't buy into it..

    It's your money do what you want. but you will never truly know till you try..

    Spot on, I sure did notice a difference, not with the Denon as much but defo with the Arcam.

    And I havn't even posted my review yet of the Signal Cable Two's ICs for my pre to amp. They burned in last week...came home from work and turned on some tunes..and went, wth happened? Very noticeable change, for the better. They sounded good out of the box, heh, then 50-60 hours later...

    Serious question, though:

    Has anyone used these? I mean EXP3s in general, not necessarily the exactly ones that are being sold, since we haven't determined for sure if they're fake or not. (But why fake entry level cables?)

    What's the characteristics of the EXP3s?

    I had a pair of the EXP3 speaker cables as well as a pair of the IC's. For being an intro cable for their line I really did like them. I think my Signal Cable Ultras are on the same level as the speaker cables and for the IC's I think the AQ sidewinders were the closet to them. Overall a very nice set of cables for the money I spent as I got them both at a very good price.

    However I like the AVT3's and T2's better which I currently have.

    and I asked the guy to post a pic of the original packaging he says he has. I also asked him if he could get me a quote for shipping because I really didn't think it would cost as much as he claims as you can do a flat rate box for these, or UPS and it would be cheaper. Hell I sent a DVD player to the west coast from WI and it only cost me 20 bucks and that was a heavy player... Pio DV-37. Anyways he said he he doesn't understand how I think its "high" and stated "it is what is is, and thats what you'll pay".

    Check out "Sellers Other Items" as he has several other MIT cables for BIN $1.99 + $8.99 shipping on up but I doubt he will let you pick them up in person

    eh I just bought one of them to see. he again has a problem with his ad though saying 9.99 shipping then another place says 12.99.

    I'll see what the packaging looks like when they come and see. Also I wanted to get the serial # off of them to see if they are fakes or what possible they are. If so MIT will be getting a phone call.

    I wouldnt let some random person pick up a 4 dollar cable. Its not safe to me and doesnt make sense.

    Even if it isn't for real....it's $4. Does it lower the standard for MIT branded cables? Perhaps but a phone call or email handles that and not a single soul on this forum has paid MSRP anyways. The biggest misconception with high end cables is what you actually pay for them. Sheesh, you'd think those of us that enjoy cables are advocating a second mortgage...please, we're all aware of cost and didn't just fall off the truck.

    Who's life is at risk here Trey? Am I missing something here? its a cable....now lives are at stake?
