    Anyhow. I love how some of you misconstrue everything. I was speaking about this forum. I don't understand the need for fighting on a board that we talk about electronic equipment on. I found it to be quite disturbing and I felt the need to post about it.

    My main concern was the somewhat uninviting atmosphere. I came here off of a reccomendation from Phuz to buy Polk speakers. He also said this place can be helpful, and it has been. Dr. Spec has helped me greatly and many others. What I don't understand is the nature of people on a freakin' message board. It's just sad. That's all. I'm sorry that I didn't mention all the good people here as well. They far outweigh the bad.

    In some way you guys represent the Polk product here. I've read so many dickheaded comments towards peoples questions that have made those people leave and most likely try a different brand of speakers.

    ok. why don't we just drop this whole dickhead topic. we've all been a dickhead at one time or another.. some of us more so than others. Lets move on guys..phleezz? we can go back and forth on who's the bigger dickhead.. who is calling this forum a dickhead, but not the people who post here. Someone says only a few people here are dickheads.. come on. DROP IT and move on.

    There are better topics to discusss than who's a dickhead and who isn't. I can tell this is headed for the biggest dickhead of all. the HOS.

    Was not directed completely at you Demiurge. It's just a fact of life. There are arse holes that I deal with everyday. Mainly because I have too. But we all need to get thicker skin here....me included. This happens every other month. And to tell you the truth it gets a little old. Some people have moved on, but your still new here, and for the most part it's a great forum. I have been coming here everyday for over a year, and there has been only one thread that pissed me off. (Not going to go there)

    The rest I just ignore if people start fighting. Thats the whole point. Ignore it and get over it. They are not out to offend you. You may take it that way, but they are out to "one up" each other. Let them do it....watch the thread go to the HOS(as this one probably will).....and move on.

    See you made the topic now live with it. Calling me a dickhead (as you did above) makes you one of us. So I guess now you are part of us.....WELCOME!!!

    If you're going to let the feelings and statements of others determine your personal taste in sound equipment..causing you to abandon the amazing price to performance ratio of Polk Audio..then good **** riddance. Hope the door split ya where the good lord **** ya...****.

    First of all....being new to the actual understanding the art of home theater, getting treated well on a message board by people who may best be able to tell me how to utilize my equipment to the fullest extent is going to make me much more likely to buy the brand that they, themselves, as a collective feel is the best for their money. Thats how the market works in many regards, especially in an industry with such subtleties in quality like this, that the subjective decisions that people make are most often made when you have people to relate to on the same level.

    I came here after I posted about purchasing new speakers on a
    totally different message board that Phuz and I both belong to. There were a wide array of suggestions and Phuz's were the most compelling and I ended up entering into the realm of HT with Polk Speakers. I could have very well went with with Bose, Energy, ect....

    I didn't....so yes...people do help me decide what to buy based on their statements and feelings.

    You definately are a dickhead LiquidSound...I know you're proud, but you could at least make sense when trying to be one...

    The saying is "Hope The Door Hit's Ya' Where The Good Lord Split Ya'...." ;)

    I apologize, let me be more specific. If someone is so thin skinned that complete stranger dickheads, on a forum, will deter you from Polk Audio...then good **** riddance. Don't do the intelligent thing and read past all the **** and find the answers for yourself. Tuck tail and run to a salesman..who will most likely point you towards the highest priced/overstocked products that need to move.

    If someone gets their wittle feewings hurt..then change your handle..rephrase your question..and ask it again. Taking into account the things that got you made fun of in the first place.
