Yeah I go to college, I only had a two year when I signed up for law enforcement, the guy told me me to get 4 years and come back because I'd get a higher pay scale and the position I was going for required 4 years of law enforcement schooling.

As for the doctor, I have my appointment for Monday at 2:45pm. They will let me know immediately of any cancellations.

I was a lifeguard and would always get burned, however never got blisters as bad as you say.

are you taking any new meds or anything? They could contribute to the fact of how bad you got burned, otherwise make sure not to scratch or rub the blisters, or pop them.

They are a PITA to deal with, and I didn't see that you said you had blisters before...no good.

NOOOOO....not moonshine. JD has been cut significantly after production. Plenty of other goodies in it to instill healing.

I was denied permission to call out or work. Manager said she has had worse and for me to suck it up. She said its only 10 hours of torture.
    What a #*^@%.
Oh well, I guess I will lather it up and just have to bathe in a pool of aloe vera.

Called the office says they are all booked up until Monday.
I would have to have to pay the emergency room premium...if it is still painful tomorrow I will have to suck it up.
Ridiculous though....I have 2nd degree burns, and she told me I'd have to wait until Monday to be looked at. Wow....

Dude, go to an urgent care. No ER premium. You may have to sit for a while, but you need to get in.

Benadryl works for me...and helps you sleep. I also have luck with hydro cortisone cream. I had a terrible burn many years ago and after every "home brew" you can imagine, a pharmacist recommended the hydro cortisone cream. As mentioned before, try not to pot the blisters.

And cancel the doctors appointment. By Monday you'll be fine.

What you need, unfortunately, can only be gotten by a prescription. It's Silver Sulfadiazine Cream, refrigerated.

White vinegar works wonders for the burn. Smell goes away when it dries. Dont believe much can be done about the blisters except leave them alone. Dont pop them, risk of infection too high.

You might try this in the meantime. What you can do is to reduce the temperature of the burnt area. Put lots of chilled water or dip that body part into chilled water for 15 to 30 minutes. After the temperature reduction, you can apply refrigerated honey [not too cold now...] as that will prevent infection from starting or spreading. If the wife has lavender oil around the house, this will also aid in your woes and help cure the actual burn.

After you have seen the doctor, you can apply vitamin C directly to the wound [liquid form, of course] to help prevent scarring. Good luck and stay out of the sun and out of hot areas the best you can.

Yeah, We counted 12 on one shoulder and 18 on the other, there are 6 on my neck.... They are white and well, they look odd.
They hurt to. I may end up calling out of work. There is no way I want a collared dress shirt rubbing on those blisters.
Im not worried about the burn. I know they heal in a week or two. But its the blisters.... I have never dealt with those.

Smack those blisters with your purse, and get to work.

This is the right stuff for the job, but only after you've been treated.

I went through the same thing when I was 13 or so. Mine was pretty severe, get to whatever medical facility you can as soon as possible. Dont break any of the blisters, infection and scarring are both likely.

I dont want to fill you in on the procedure to "fix" everything, but you'll have to man up.

Good luck and hope you get to feeling better.

PC Screw work, the DR and waiting till Monday get your **** to the er NOW!!
2nd degree burns and blisters are nothing to screw with. Believe me I know from experience, If a blister pops and get's infected it can travel in and if it get's to your bones your screwed I don't think you would like spending 6 months to a year fighting a bone infection.

I'd be afraid to lose an eyebrow :(

Seriously though, did you try the toothpaste? I don't know about applying it on the blisters but around the blistered area it should provide immediate relief. I know because when I went camping I got pretty burnt, and this girl I met out there (shut up Chris! lol) recommended toothpaste and she put it on me and it worked like a charm!
