Okay, I'm sitting in my cousin, the podiatrist's office, entering some Medicare Claims for him. His office is in a very, very old stone house with no central air . . . they use window AC units to cool the various treatment rooms and waiting area, however the office I'm in has no windows thus no AC . . .

. . . I now can literally say, "I'm sweating my balls off!" As a matter of fact I could easily wring a cup of sweat out of my underwear!
Powder, corn starch, nothing works to keep me dry. . . I'm gonna puke it is so hot in this room. BTW no flourescent lights in here, four, yes, four 100 watt incandescent lights are on over my head!!!! I can't imagine the poor bastages who have to work outside in this heat!!! UGH!

    HELP ME!!!

After reading that I suddenly feel sick too ! ;)

almost every time we get massive heat waves filled with dirty air, they say " a mass of polluted air from the states has brought heat and humidity to our region". like the US are the only polluters in N-A.
Of course they are ;) The only one that can beat the US is out of NA and it is China

Hey, nothing wrong with free sauna use (suppose to be healty) ;)

However, it would be a lot less embarrassing for HI to loose weight elsewhere than his balls. I would be pretty embarrass to walk around with mini-balls (or is pico balls...) ;)

i think we're suppose to hit low 90's today.. mid to upper 90's rest of the week. then a nice cool down to upper 70's. we only have a few days a year where it's super hot here... otherwise, it ain't bad ;)

the AC helps keep me cooled down.

Drink plenty of water all day.. even if you're not thristy.. you need water before you become dehydrated

93 in Olympia today. I have window AC units at each end of the house (1 + 1) and they are running full blast and cooling a 3400 sq ft home.

On the other hand, it is very mild in the Bay area. So far a very cool summer. 70s, and maybe low 80s, during the day, and 50s/60s at night. I pray that climate change will keep this area cool, and let everyone else burn. ;)

Now watch a fracking (is it okay to use a TV word even though we all know what it means) heat wave hit.

I hope those are BIG-**** units! You need central A/C for a load that size.

Hey, I volunteer to burn! I personnally prayed that global warming would bring the sunny and hot heat to Canada and transfer the cold Canadian winters to the US :D I think this is a fair deal, isn't it? ;)

This evening we had rain and warnings of storm, I guess this should calm down the heat wave and provide for friendlier (slightly cooler) weather.

The demand on the Quebec grid his fairly high but is still no problem as winter is a lot more higher. Bring it up, we have lots of hydro juice here in QC ;)
