Well to all of you Studs out there when you start doing 3 sets of 10 reps of 435 lb curls like me then you will have something to brag about :p:D

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    Congratulations. The guys aside above.

Yes body to weight ratio matters if you're a professional Power-lifter! But for 'normal' humans, even athletes. Benching over 400 lbs is a special 'club' that not many of us will ever see in our lifetime. It requires A LOT of work, dieting, and mental preparation.

So kudos to you. I've never had that kind of patience. My personal best is 305 and that was when I was in my 30s! So 435.....hech yah!!! Good work. How OLD are you?

And cstmar01 is right...watch those JOINTS. You may be able to do that NOW. But when you get to our age...it's lifting with 'pain'! Knee injuries, shoulder injuries, elbow joint out of place, etc. You have to lift with your entire BODY wrapped. lol

    Nice work, in any case!

    Twist tops are easy.

Jam the top of the cap in to your forearm, flex and twist the bottle. The cap will come off and you won't tear up your hand!

    No, I wouldn't.

Nice try on the "small man syndrome" though.

You know what I think? I think there's no such thing as "small man syndrome". I think it's bloated meatheads like yourself that don't have the intelligence to let people be and find the guy you think is the weakest to pick on to boost your own lacking ego. Then you say it's "small man syndrome" when you antagonize someone past their boiling point and they blow up at you.

It's like tying a dog to a rope and jerking it around and then having the audacity to be stunned when the dog loses it and attacks you.

Granted, not everyone who is a bodybuilder is a bloated meathead. Some are fine, upstanding individuals. It's the few bad apples that spoil it for the rest.

haha I bet I'm shorter than pretty much everyone else here. 5ft 4in baby.

I'm a small guy and I've been asked about that whole small man thing, some people have it because they always have to "prove" themselves in some way, shape, or form. Others are just fine being the way they are. I didn't chose to be short, but it does have its advantages, when I fall I just have a shorter distance to go lol...

Geez, this thread has taken a wicked left turn . . . no political pun intended.

Chris, you sounded a lot taller on the phone!:D:p

    The Three Stooges heights;

    Curly: 5'5"
    Moe : 5'4"
    Larry: 5'4"
    Shemp: 5'6"

. . . and who didn't love them!?! I did a lot of reading about them years ago and Curly at 5' 5" was supposed to be as strong as a man 10" taller!
